GM Mitch Kupchak comments on Miles Bridges’ future with the Charlotte Hornets

Hornets GM Mitch Kupchak speaks on the status of Miles Bridges and how long the situation continues to play out. How much could that affect the upcoming offseason? Steve Clifford warns decision makers to take the last 20 games with a grain of salt when it comes to the roster/personnel.

  1. Honestly at this point I want the hornets to move on and try to build this team without him. Also who the hell is on this case for the NBA … Inspector Clouseau??

  2. They need to move on from Bridges. Resign PJ and extend Lamelo is the priority right now. Forget this dude.

  3. Investigate? I’ll do it for them. He beat his wife. His wife pressed charges. He plead “no contest”. Investigation done!

  4. Y'all know Ebay harassed a husband and wife journalist team, right? Like criminally harassed, stalked, threatened, etc. A bunch of former executives were just convicted and sentenced to prison last year.

  5. Why is Walker Mehl talking about "trials taking long?" Miles Bridges pled guilty and was sentenced to probation on November 3, 2022.

The ball has been in the NBA's court for the last 5½ months. How is Bridges' single incident case more difficult to investigate than Ja Morant, who had multiple incidents in at least two different states? 🤷

  6. It is hard to assess the Hornets young players without taking into accord the management and coaching staff first! If I am another organization I take a flyer on the Hornets young players because I feel their inconsistency(players) is directly correlated with the lack of commitment and direction of the front office. This whole Miles Bridges situation happened before the draft and hit the news before last year's free agency, the Hornets showed they did not have a contingency plan for any untoward events and perhaps have none this year. Not making a definitive decision or any decision is often worse than making the less popular and or wrong decision. Expect more irrational and erratic behavior from the front office and the coaching staff. There is not a bus big enough for them to throw the younger players under, and, if those comments by the 61 year old head coach were pointed at James Bouknight that speaks volumes about underhandedness.

  7. Miles Bridges is too talented to let go for nothing. It would be a bad business decision Domestic
V is the biggest hustle. Violence is violence. It doesn't need it's own special categories. Just away to demonize and mistreat. Like being on drugs or poor or black. Away to dismiss out of hand instead of doing the work of knowing and respecting an individual.

  8. We just need to move on from Miles. It's done. It's over. Let's start fresh. Miles isn't that guy anymore and we should've moved on the moment everything came out. He's not good enough for us to let him sabotage another off season. He's a good player who is inconsistent. Let's move on.

  9. From what I’ve gathered on Mychell’s social media. They’ve been talking and seeing each other again. Idk if that makes this investigation look worse or better.
