    Only one other player showed flashes of what Kyrie did tonight and that was Kobe. And I'm not even a Kyrie fan.

    I hope Luka doesn’t change his game because of all the criticism and Kyrie’s different style. Luka’s style got us to the WCF last year. Kidd needs to figure out how to blend and maximize both of their styles.

    I been saying this, offense is not a problem… its the defensive players surrounding luka and kyrie is… LUKA AND KYRIE can score at will they have that covered, the problem is stopping the other team… which i believe mark cuban can adress this summer… and reggie bullock and poweelll is just absoulte dead weight starters man… look at their avgs its just sad and they dont even bring anything on defense

    Luka, kyrie whatever. Real question is how the fuck is Powell and Bullock still starting. Powell has to be the worst starting center in the whole league hands down.

    Kyrie had to “ go off” and play an exceptional game and Luka played. Good/great … and they barely won??? That’s not good

    Dallas fan here.. 🙋🏾‍♂️.. not impressed.. Dallas made a bunch of tough/lucky 3s.. plus… Dallas got out rebounded AGAIN.. why did McGee only have 8 minutes?! Cmon KIDD. 🤷🏾‍♂️

    I am sensing that Kyrie’s presence and performance albeit extremely impactful for this Mavericks team is NOT all encompassing and welcoming with Luka. He comes across me as an envious teammate that would rather lose than to share or relinquish the spotlight with Kyrie.

    The idea that Luka didn't deserve a tech tonight is absolutely insane. I understand the consequences and or the level of pressure on officials considering the stakes, but he hasn't couched his obsessive banter one bit. Was a horribly officiated game for both teams but broadly the rope in which stars get in this league with refs is a joke.

    I hate when people say Kyrie is the problem. If you actually watch the Mavs, neither Luka or Kyrie is the problem. It’s the WHOLE team’s defense. Kyrie and
    Luka both have actually been playing well but the Mavs kept losing because they can’t stop the other team from scoring. Kyrie is an upgrade from Brunson but the Mavs also lost Finney Smith, one of their best defenders. So basically, this Mavs team is the same as last year, only a little bit worse on defense. Jason Kidd needs to play Javale McGee and Christian Wood more. They provide size and rim protection better than Powell. And the Mavs would have loved to have a 3 and D wing right now. That’s where their lacking. Most of the other team’s best players are wings. The Mavs starting forwards are Tim Hardaway Jr. and Reggie Bullock for crying out loud lol. They are both natural guards. Very undersized. Imagine THJ and Bullock guarding the KD, LeGM, Giannis, Tatum, Butler, Zion, AD, KAT, Sabonis, Randle, JJJ, Markkanen, etc. of the other teams lol. Barbeque chicken.
