[Will Guillory] Along with his injured thumb, CJ McCollum played the final seven games of the season with a torn labrum in his shoulder, sources tell @TheAthletic . It’ll be a long offseason for the Pels’ veteran guard.

  1. Smart for him to leak this so his trade value plummets lmao

Would’ve been better off not playing at all if it was really that bad…

Imagine the shit Zion would get if he went out there still injured and played as bad as CJ did the last month.

He’s in a no-win situation because sports fandom is toxic af.

CJ McCollum has averaged 20.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists in his last 7 games shooting 44/40/63 (54% TS)

Well shit. Hopefully bro heals up and comes back better next season

Well, between a thumb and labrum, I can see why he didn’t come through for us. Hope these injuries were the source of the inconsistency

Our old ass vets being the ironmen of the team and toughing out major injuries while our young players tend to temporarily die for 1/3 off the season at a time Is something 😒🙃

Respect to CJ for doing what he could, but this is yet again a coaching issue here

If CJ fucked his shoulder 7 games prior, and you **only** start playing Kira the day of the play-in game, I mean… what the flying fuck

You get that fucking kid ready way ahead of the season on the line in case CJ gets worse, which he visibly did. Maybe the staff thought Dyson would work out, but they still went Kira when it mattered the most. Baffling.
