This sub has to relax with this dude. After such a long career and long coaching tenure, he STILL hasn’t appeared to be a major head coach candidate. It’s just seems pretty clear that he doesn’t show the traits of what you look for in a difference-making coach.
Let’s all hope and pray that this isn’t a ploy to poach NBA champion coach Glenn Rivers from us

I honestly hope he gets the job. Sixers aren’t going to make him head coach, so why should he waste his time when he wants to be a Head Coach now?

Welp since I know Houston wouldn’t dare take Doc…. Maybe our savior Sam Hinkie can talk Houston into hiring Brett Brown instead.
Would hate to see him leave. Side note, is he also the one who counts down the end of the shot clock so everyone can hear it?
For those of you upset about this: Cassell has indicated in the past that he wants to be HC of a rebuilding team. He was/is never going to be the HC for us as he has no desire to hence why we didn’t make him interim coach when Doc was out with COVID last year.
Doc would be coach of the year if he took the rockets job. He can only coach bad teams.
Why do we let all the good coaches leave?
