It should be 250k more and that draft pick should go to Knicks.
Why should they even penalize a team for doing the best thing for their franchise? Makes no sense.
Portland sat out their whole team for weeks. What was their penalty again?
When the penalty for a crime is a fine, the fine is simply the cost of committing that crime.
They should have taken their 2nd round pick
750k is nothing. Just take away their next 1st round pick and no one would do it again.
What does the NBA expect teams to do when they allow other teams to rest their starters because they've already locked up a playoff spot? Dallas should try to win and lose their pick because the teams they need to lose also sit all their guys?😂
The bottom 10 teams should be in a lottery for picks 1-5 and 25-30.
750k for a top 10 draft pick. Mark and many other owners would pay that every year if it was an option for a top 10 pick lol
This is embarrassing
When Rich Eisen start talking about the teams tanking, somebody needs to clip that and add the ether beat to it….
Just another reason to hate the Mav's.
It’s not embarrassing imo it’s playing your cards
The nba is a joke and it starts at the top with their android commissioner lol and pre madonna players
He’s right, Blazer were a disgrace
Maybe I'm being a homer but the Portland situation felt different. If you are already eliminated from the playoffs why risk injuring your best players when you have nothing to play for?
Technically Dallas did not break any law. The fine is ok .
Cuban is a Billionaire, he'd pay a $5m fine if it means he gets a top 5 pick
The fine is only for Cuban, because they don´t like his attitude. Fine all other teams not reaching the play-in. It is bullshit, they konw it and can´t control it.
Why did the China lovng POS league fine one team when teams tanked the whole year? Eisen is part of the problem, bending the knee and slurping China, Freedom Kanter is a hero this man is a ZERO
The NBA management is a spineless joke.
In addition to a fine, NBA should take away 10% of the ping pong balls from Mavs so no other team would dare to try this in the future.
Mavs would get stomped
And the league doesn't ruin the integrity of the game with the referees?? It's awful they've turned the game into mid 90s wwf
The nba should bump them down a “win” for every game they tanked and worsen their draft pick
Hehehhe like the mavs were the only zeam resting their stars in last 3 games..nba is a joke
Comish: "$750K."
Cuban: "😂."
Should fine Cuban 10 mil for hiring a shoe salesman for a GM
Mark Cuban is worth $5B+. Do you know how much someone who is worth $5B+ is after you fine them $750k?..
$5B+. (1 Billion = 1000 million.)
Who cares? They only fined the mavs because they know cuban has pockets. Teams have been tanking for the past decade…
The officiating in the NFL is by far worse than the NBA. It's so bad, that it quite literally makes me not want to watch games.
