That hard foul from Rodman is the reason the rest of the season, into the playoffs Jordan wore wrist stint on his shooting hand. Go back and look at the 93 playoffs and you’ll see Jordan with it. It was only by the finals was it feeling better and he took it off. It also contributed to Jordan’s poor shooting in the knicks series. But as we see not only did it not stop Jordan, it didn’t even stop him from continuing to play in this game. His ability to play through pain was remarkable. And reason he’s the GOAT

The Pistons designed their entire defense to stop Jordan. I've still never seen anything like it in watching the NBA since the early 80s. They grabbed, shoved, pushed and knocked him to the ground all game long because there's a defensive philosophy that says if you foul all game long the refs can't call everything and it worked for a few years. That is until MJ started lifting weights and put on 20 pounds of muscle to deal with the abuse. Once he did that they swept the Pistons and went on to threepeat twice.
