    Is the guy having an identity crisis? Why was this guy even drafted in the first place. You would think that time in highschool and college and scouts and coaches and drafters would be able to filter out the men from the boys. And Zion isn’t a man. He’s a child

    So a injury prone super star player sits out cause he's not 100% gets flack… If he plays and messes up the chemistry of the team and at worst reinjured his hamstring then he'll be told he came back too fast…

    Zion is satisfactorily paid. He is content and no longer hungry. There is really no motivation for him to strive to be or do anything other than what he’s doing.

    Zion never wanted to go there. You could tell the night of the draft lottery and New Orleans won it instead of New York he didn't want to go there. He had a look of disappointment on his face.

    Me personally I think Zion didn’t play because his 200m hurt clauses in it contact start next year .. so if he did play n got hurt n didn’t start next year he don’t get paid

    How insulting, and ridiculous it is to guarantee players 200 million or more ( whether they play or not ) for 4 years and hype them as more important than the team. Of course, they are gonna turn into prima donnas who don't care about the team, the fans, or performing. Once they sign those outrageous contracts they have already " won ". They become only concerned with their " brand ". That's human nature. The Money matters stupid ! Just because the Media ignore the money and the players never mention it no matter how poor their beginnings were, that amount of money changes everything ! I'm not blaming Zion or his camp. They are only doing what comes natural…..they gotta try and protect his ability to earn another half a billion or more. That's the only thing that matters to them.

    Loved Zion's game. But I played and been watching NBA player's careers a very long time. At this point I would move Zion. It's too many guys salaries you have to pay,to have a dark cloud in the locker room. The organization has to deal with their franchise player having a fickle mental twist and his dad acting like Zion is a kid. The NBA is all about work,manhood, your composition as a man and team commitment. That sissy ish about, I could play but won't and your father all in your work space talking ish,is too weird. I would trade his arse, regardless of how talented he is.

    You are blind if u dont see this as a strategy, Zion wants more years in the League to get more money he doesn't want to get a Career-Ending Injury and be out in the League. Now that his family is already involved u know this become a family business.

    Yao Ming had a lot of injuries because of his weight, but that was unavoidable because he was going to be well over 300 lbs because of his height, frame, bone thickness, etc. Zion Williamson's injuries are his own fault because he doesn't have the will power to get down to 250-260 lbs. Zion could get away at that weight in football because you don't play as many games and you don't play continuously. Charles Barkley would have been just as injury prone as Zion if he stayed at 300+ lbs for his whole career.
