KD fires back at ‘too sensitive’ reputation, how Lakers-Grizzlies will pan out | NBA | THE HERD

Kevin Durant recently addressed his ‘too sensitive’ reputation in an exclusive interview with FOX Sports’ Melissa Rohlin. He said quote: ‘I don’t see this talked about — I see Damian Lillard, I see LeBron [James], I see Draymond [Green], I see lots of great players in our league speak up on social media, but they don’t get that ‘sensitive’ rep.’ Colin Cowherd defends KD but explains why leaving the Golden State Warriors for Kyrie Irving is his ‘only mistake.’ The Los Angeles Lakers are set to hit the road to face the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round, which tips off on Sunday. Colin predicts how the series will pan out, ahead of potential conspiracies if the purple and gold win.

  1. Just because you can predict it being rigged doesn’t make it not rigged lol. Even the players were saying it 3 weeks ago, but I guess everyone who thinks differently than Colin is a nut job. Of course AD and LeBron get bs calls so do most super stars

  2. Colin: NBA is not rigged. Y'all folks are wackos…

NBA Former Refs on multiple platforms: We're given a call sheet every playoff series for how to call each game🤣🤣🤣

  3. All these athletes are too sensitive😂, no one cares. Pay our teachers, and first responders more money not these cry babies who are idolized for no reason. Idolize Jesus. Jesus is Lord and our savior not any human on this earth

  4. California boy already protecting himself from a Lakers loss. They get the calls. Nothing to argue. You act like they’re the only team that drives to the bucket. I usually agree with Colin but calling people “nut jobs” because of an obvious star treatment is ridiculous. Bad take.

  5. Stop say saying he left g.s. he was run out of town or he would have wound up like pool! N Steph didn't back em up he saw that they got 2 rings with em n didn't need em no more 😢 that's y I hate g.s. know they're a horrible example of a team with a coach who got no cajones

  6. the narrative isn't about him choosing steph and leaving steph, but him not leading his team to the chip, an ultimate narrative that he can't win without steph.

  7. I think it's safe to say Colin should avoid talking things outside of sports. It makes him look entirely unintelligent. I get that it's his job to say some dumb things about sports topics for ratings, but once he starts on the politics he just shows he is uneducated. Like citing Bill Maher is about the same as citing my dog's opinion. Similar intellectual capability.

  8. Durant has done what Casuals/Haters PRETEND LeBron has done (stacking the deck).

KD joined Warriors who were 140-24 nearly b2b🏆previous 2 years before him, and co favorite for 2017🏆 without him 3 prime HOF with HOF GM/Coach AND now Suns who 20 months ago up 2-0 in finals vs then 64-18 last year and top2 favorite to win🏆going into playoffs (+ 22-13 this year when 1st team all NBA heart of prime Booker plays without Durant).

LeBron joined Heat who were 30 games under .500 previous 4 years (and 4-12 in first round of playoffs in what haters say was “weak east…Bosh Raptors 70 games under .500 in his 7 years missing playoffs 5/7 yrs and 3-8 in 1st rd games with him shooting 43/16 from field/3).

Cavs who had THE WORST RECORD in NBA previous 4 years before Bron!

Lakers who had THE WORST record in NBA previous 5 years before Bron got there!

  9. The nets when KD joined looked good on paper. It just didn’t work, but they had plenty of talent to make a championship run (KD, Kyrie, Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Lamarcus Aldridge, Patty Mills, Clayton, Blake Griffin, Drummond, Joe Harris

  10. The Lakers playstyle can tend to generate more free throws AND the officials can call a biased game in their favor. These aren’t mutually exclusive possibilities. Anyway, it doesn’t matter because it’s Grizzlies in 6.

  11. The last two weeks this clown couldn't stop talking about how the Warriors will get all the calls from referees because of "dynasty" and now that people think that Lakers will get all the calls they are wackos. Another prime example of rules for thee but not for me.

  12. So this again is all about Kyrie smh it's amazing how u don't take the jab or be a yes man then get dragged through the media crazy
