I remember the lakers/kings series, the worst and most obvious cheating with the refs I have ever witnessed.
As a closeted laker flan ( from NY, and was a Kobe fan) that Bibby shot made feel some type of way lol

That was year the refs literally cheated us. A couple refs went to jail for that ish
Mike bibby made them a real contender. Best team i ever saw that didnt make the finals in my opinion. They were absolutely stacked with shooters and passing big men like vlade and cwebb

I remember those Kings teams late 90s-mid 00s. Very good teams. Should've won that it all in 03 Webber blew out his knee in the playoffs, 2nd round. 02 , shouldve won it all too. I remember that series, WCF refs screwed them over against the Lakers. 🏀

My favorite moment was when the league rigged a series against them so that the lakers could win and three peat and be so great.
I think he's talking about the series where one of the Refs ending up going to prison for fixing games and explicitly said that series was one of the fixes he was personally involved in. And then even described in detail how it was fixed. That series, Brian?
This rivalry is reason I fell in love with basketball. Everyone was rooting for the Lakers to win because of how dominant Shaq and Kobe were, but as a kid, I was silently screaming in my heart hoping for the underdogs to win
