    Edit: Imo with McDaniels I would pick the Wolves over the nuggets

    With KAT being down most of the season they lost a lot of offensive power… but on the bright side even though numbers weren't showing it Gobert definitally had an impact on the defensive end; this has probably been one of the best defensive units the Wolves have had in a long time. Ant, McDaniels, Gobert, TP, Slomo, and now add in Conley and NAW – that is one tough DEFENSIVE rotation! All 7 of those players can bring it which can kind of explain why Gobert's numbers aren't as good as they were in Utah because of other guys committing to the defensive aspects.

    Kat didn't play for 50 games
    D-lo sucked as a distributor – he looked shot first, pass second
    once Kat learns how to feed Rudy and still involve Ant – look out NBA
    to give this potential lineup only a couple dozen games to make it work isn't fair to anyone

    before you dump on Rudy and before you realize how much D-lo screwed up the team, look at how they played when Mike Conley led the team. more assists, better defense.

    next year – a healthy Kat, a point DISTRIBUTOR, a drive and dish Ant and lock down Jaden will have this team tearing up the league.
    Look at how the Lakers sucked all year – because of injury = = = should AD be traded??
    NO!! injuries affect performance. it did for the Lakers, the Clippers, the Pelicans and Wolves. they ALL finished within a game or two of each other
    but it's only the Wolves who should have won more games??

    People like this don't watch the wolves. They aren't screwed. Ant is averaging 25ppg while getting no love from the refs. It's not about the draft anymore for the wolves being relevant is a win for us. 20 years of sucking. We make the playoffs as a 8 seed again we are still happy.

    i honestly think all the doomsday talk surround the Timberwolves is premature. yes, it was a terrible trade, i doubt anyone would argue that. that trade was obviously bad even if it resulted with them ending up with the number one seed in the west. it's just a terrible trade. but, i don't think they're as terrible as people have been portraying and the organization is not completely handcuffed if they need to make some kind of adjustment. people need to chill on this and let it play out a little longer. i actually give the Timberwolves a shot against the Nuggets. let it play out.

    First order of business is to FIRE the GM. Invest in a good GM that has a short and long term vision, and a plan on how to get out of this mess. Second most likely a hire by the new GM, a head coach that knows how to make the current roster work if the options are very limited. Personally, if I should put on my GM cap on, One or the other will need to be traded, CAT or Ant or both and get assets for them, and either hit a soft or hard reset with this plan also create plans for creating a culture and identity with the incoming players and picks; if the owner don't want that, then the coach has to go and get one that would integrate these roster including Gobert all together. If I were to chose who to trade, I'd probably trade CAT, just an idea, to the Nets for Cam Thomas and Nick Clax and parts for parts (I don't know if the numbers work), but I think both teams will benefit from this trade. If Nets don't want to extend Nick and Cam and Wolves are, this is a chance to recoup the picks on top of filling holes.

    I’m a long term die hard wolves fan and I love the rudy trade. We are a good team. Rudy has become wildly underrated.
    Vando, Beasley and Beverly are not that big of a loss. Happy to give up some late first round draft picks to get a player like rudy.
