Denver is really the only team that stands apart in the WC in terms of W/L v. teams 0.500 or better, and they had most of their success against GS, LAC, and SAC (10-1).
Versus Western Conference playoff teams, MN only had a losing record against Phoenix, won the series v. 3/4 Cali squads, and was 14-12 overall.
I’m not intimidated by anyone in this year’s Western Conference and think cautious optimism is completely reasonable.

It’s all fun and games until game 3 when the Nuggets figure it out and start a bunch of random g-leaguers against us.
That was with Naz and JMac though.. I definitely think Wolves would have a good shot with those two. Without those two I’d put our chances at like 10%
