“We played it how we’re going to play it last night w/48 hours bet. G1/G2… I don’t regret resting him…. Playing Steph 40+ minutes isn’t the answer, the answer is handling the non-Steph minutes better.” Steve Kerr on the non-Curry minutes in G1 (0:54 – via 95.7)

Its the playoffs bruh. Steph is better conditioned at 35 than fox is at fkin 26 or whatever he at. Those minutes u rested him lost them the game. U also fkin took draymond out as well and let cte poole and klay fuck everything up. Just switch back to 12-6 for steph. That rotation keeps him well below 40 minutes and if u need to put him early kn the 4th u can. Instead of the 6 minute mark he comes in at 8 minutes instead. 12-6 allows for draymond to be out there in the non curry minutes. Klay and poole cant br trusted to be out there on their own.

    He’s not wrong

Don’t need a worn down Steph later on if we get there and other guys need to step up if we want to do anything

playoffs are a marathon. goal is to make the finals. if we need steph going 40 every night then this team aren’t title contenders

Curry can rest when he’s dead, no disrespect.

He should be playing the entire 4th.

  5. Hungry-Act8691

It’s the allocation of the minutes. He could’ve easily played Steph all of 3rd and being him at 8 minute mark in 4th. Stick to the 12/6 in first 2 and 12/8

Dude tried to be cute but em in the ass

The lineups in the non-Steph minutes didn’t make any sense. Draymond needs to be on the floor in all of the non-Steph minutes, Poole cannot be trusted to run the offense. Also playing Poole and Kuminga together is way too risky, both of them are erratic and unpredictable. The late 3rd quarter momentum swing happened with Steph/Dray sitting and an odd Poole/Kuminga lineup.

hes not wrong, but we have got to stop closing quarters with Poole led lineups, we just bleed momentum, going back to 12-6 12-6 or 12-7/8 12-7/8 rotations when needed for Steph, having Draymond play all the Steph sitting minutes, and running more sets instead of the dollar store Harden offense Poole likes running when he runs the 2nd unit seems like the quickest fixes

I’m a Kuminga fan but he was a bit invisble at that game.

The few time he was in Fox was eating him up.

Wiggins on the other hand was good physically but you can see what not playing a few weeks has done on his shooting.
He had some shot that should’ve gone in but just clanked.

Hope these 2 pick it up cause I believe they are the x-factors we need for a good run.

Just need to get some reps for Wiggs while JK needs to ask Dray or GPII for some tips against crafty and quick guys like Fox.

It was a close game and was actually winnable despite the ‘mistakes’ above. Fix that and I can see is getting the dub.

Fans want Kerr to play a 35 year old Curry who already runs a shit ton 40+ minutes a game, in game 1…

  10. IMovedYourCheese

Kerr has to be the least respected successful coach in the league among his fanbase. Man coached the team to 4 championships and a million playoffs series wins and people still question his decision making and rotations. You heard the exact same whining on this sub the entire last season and postseason.

  11. ImTheBestNerd

Watching Ja and Giannis get hurt and the entire Suns starting unit playing 40+ minutes I agree. Don’t want Steph getting hurt and don’t want him worn down by the 2nd round.

  12. Klonomania

At some point we as fans need to realise that Curry is 35. If we can’t survive 10-12 minutes without a 35-year old player hard carrying, it’s over.

  13. RegressionToTheDream

Steve Kerr hasn’t changed his philosophy on this from losing games doing it before and he’s not gonna do it now. It’s cost us a chip before and it’s won us 4.

  14. IntentionNo8605

The fans here want Steph to play 40 minutes not understanding the man is old. He 35, he should not even play 40 minutes

  15. ArtfulLying

Yeah that also might’ve been your best shot at winning this series and yah let it go because apparently two more minutes for steph is gonna kill him. What a trash excuse. He fucked up. Steph needs to play more or else this team aint making it out of this round. That rest wont do him any good considering we wont be in the playoffs.

    It’s a marathon and I believe in Kerr’s rotation
