You know what to chant Suns fans. I wanna see a whole stadium get kicked out.

  2. hellohellohello18199

Dude shot 3/19. Westbrick is an accurate nickname

  3. jackknoops

Guys lucky Westbrook didn’t show him his nipple

  4. thy_armageddon

I’ll be honest, at this point it is just kinda funny. Like I hope this is just now a trait of Westbrook, that the minute he hears Westbrick the red mist takes over.

  5. Where did he cross the line? Are fans not allowed to boo and taunt players?

I was thinking mf started talking about his family or got racial. All this over “westbrick”? He was literally 3/19 from the field

  6. AlexeyShved1

Playoff basketball baby. Suns fans should be chanting Westbrick all game.

  7. Asleep-Geologist-612

This is a great way to get the entire arena to chant “Westbrick” in every game going forward

  8. confuddly

Ngl westbrick is like the tamest insult ever

  9. Russell is a sensitive dude. I think it should be safe to say that now. Very passionate and very sensitive. It’s probably an important part of what makes him great and maddening at the same time.

Im pretty sure this is the “money guy” we see here in PHX. He is usually associated with extreme bad luck and is a garbage fan. So the fact he just mouthed off Westbrook after his insane defensive performance is the equivalent of opening Pandora’s box.

Outside the context of a game I have no problem with Russ reacting to it. Heckling is somewhat part of the game experience when you play in front of fans. No one should have to take shit from random strangers once they’ve left the court. Especially from a douchebag with man titties who knows the pro has a lot more to lose.

  12. HisExcellency20

Seriously at this point Westbrook has to be held accountable for these altercations. The term “Westbrick” is not enough to escalate these incidents the way Westbrook is escalating them.

People make fun of KD for being on Twitter, or Joel for talking about the MVP, but honestly this is the softest shit in sports and it keeps happening. I mean if you call Harden a choker should you be escorted from the building? If you yell at Giannis and tell him he’s charging all game should they have you removed? Is it just the cleverness of the nickname that we’re legislating? Should the kids in Denver that had the “missing” sign for Embiid have been banned from the arena?

This is complete and utter bullshit and I just fucking *knew* this is all that the dude said. I’m sorry if one dude says “Westbrick” and the other drops an F bomb on him in front of his kid then I know who the problem is.

  13. bigbaldheadNR

If Russ was smart he’d embrace it. He could make bank off merch fr.

  14. differentlevel1

Grow a thicker skin, Russ. Just imagine what football players have to deal with. “Westbrick” is just a kindergarten level insult, definitely not something you get in an argument with fans or kick them out of the arena.

  15. subtle_penguin

Wait so Westbrook followed this guy to the fans lounge and started yelling at him cuz he called him westbrick??

  16. randomlewis69

I still don’t understand why Westbrook’s coming at him with his midriff exposed, holding his dick like he’s gonna whip it out and beat the man to death with it.

  17. rjnd2828

Westbrick is totally fair game as a taunt. It’s not at all racial or biased, it doesn’t bring family into it and it is just commenting on his basketball abilities. Time to just tune this out.

  18. canadianbroncos

Russ is a fucking baby getting that mad over a school yard chirp.

Also quite funny how everyone is always like “fans wouldn’t say shit face to face” and this dude seemingly did just that lmao.

  19. SexyWampa

It’s the same asshole who was holding money up a couple years ago. We don’t like him either, he’s cringey and embarrassing. I’m not advocating violence, but we wouldn’t mind seeing him get his ass kicked.

  20. GoldenGloveMan

He had no problem dissing kd with the cupcake stuff years ago, yet can’t even take a joke lol

  21. GoRangers5

Any chirp that isn’t racially or sexual orientation based is fair game.

  22. EuroLegend23

Normally I’d agree and just kinda be in the “You can’t control what other people say about you” camp, but these fans know they can say whatever they want to these athletes and there won’t be many consequences.

  23. PooperJackson

If I ever happen to be within shouting distance of him I will be going all in for that lawsuit settlement money.

  24. choose_images

ON MY FAMILIES NAME I WILL AVENGE THEE

  25. GeebGeeb

You’re in the nba and you shoot 3/19. The shoe fits Russ, wear it like a man.

  26. ApplicationNo2506

I hope someone on the suns calls him westbrick when he’s at the line. Just to see his reaction

  27. xenoz2020

Bit weird to be doing it outside the game. You taunt players all you want when the play is going on, but if you’re just in a lobby during halftime, refilling your extra large beer, getting your second half jumbo burrito, it is a bit weird to start name calling a player who’s just passing through. And to do it in front of your child sets a poor example.

  28. senshi_of_love

Larry Bird would’ve made Westbrook suicidal with his trash talking.

  29. TreChomes

I want Dinshittie Island to get as mad when people call him it too lmao

  30. Thellamaking21

I mean it’s a little ridiculous he’s still being called this when not in the game. I get shitting on him during the game that’s fair game but if someone shouts at me that i’m terrible at my job randomly i’m gonna get a little mad at them lol

  31. PooperJackson

Gotta love the people in here comparing ‘Westbrick’ to some poor kid in Elementary school being bullied over his name. This is a man who has gotten along being extremely cocky, egotistical, and disrespectful his whole career and now that the tables have turned so drastically that he’s not just washed, but refuses to accept he’s washed and is out there laying bricks on a nightly basis all the while being paid the highest salary in the NBA he’s too “sensitive” to take it? Please.

  32. moserftbl88

I’m baffled people are here still defending westbrook. The dude is giant baby, that is one of the most tame taunts there is and you’d think he was called a slur by his reaction. He needs to grow up

  33. this is how you encourage entire arenas to chant “westbrick”

  34. fake-reddit-numbers

Dude needs to learn to just laugh at commoners and remind them they’re fat pieces of shit.

  35. Any_Adhesiveness_898

If true that’s a wildly soft thing to challenge a man to a fight over lmao

  36. ArthurMaxley

You can tell he’s never been bullied in school. If you let them know it offends you, they’ll never stop!

  37. TJStrawberry

I would feel bad for him if he didn’t talk so much shit himself lol

  38. AtreusIsBack

I actually stick with Russ on this one. I would not be chuckling and brushing it off if someone was turning my family name into a joke, regardless of how badly I’m playing on the court.

Some people take their family name very seriously and are proud of it, so if a fan starts turning it into a joke, I would probably have them thrown out as well, just because I can.
