MASSIVE loss for us. Rest of the bench needs to step up.

  2. SimpatheticNS

this would be a big loss. who takes those minutes? let alone fill the void

  3. mdillon08

IQ, RJ, and Grimes have got to pick up the slack.

  4. asapfetty

Before we all jump out the window. Is it possible that the Knicks are using this as a ploy to fuck with Cleveland?

Doubtful doesn’t mean out and Thibs might be trying to fuck with JB’s game plan because now he has to account for whether Hart will play or not and change rotations based on that.

  5. vette322

Just hope it’s only G2 – if Jalen is the heart and soul of this team, Josh is the blood and guts.

  6. Literal_Satan

really hope he plays, but we’re deep enough where one guy down shouldn’t sink us (assuming the depth doesn’t all play like shit again)

  7. TreSeven

This hurts my soul but at least we already stole home court advantage, hope RJ/Quick/Grimes can pick up the slack in Game 2

  8. AutisticFingerBang

Refuse to believe this dawg ain’t lacing up

  9. Yankeeknickfan

Don’t let deuce McBride touch the floor. 8 man rotation. Play Iq and grimes more

  10. Norby710

40+ minutes of grimes and need iq to get back to his usual self. Unfortunately, without hart we can’t just pretend rj was good like the rest of this sub is doing.

  11. teknomatic

Fuck, that’s not good. Grimes and/or IQ need to step it up.

And does Thibs shorten the rotation to 8 or keep it at 9?

If it stays at 9, who steps in for Hart? Deuce?

  12. i_am_the_senate_

I’ll believe it when I see it. This could very easily be a ploy to throw the Cavs off, and I think it would take a lot for Hart to not lace up

  13. not sure what to believe….we’re going to need him at msg so instead of going for a clean sweep we’re taking our chances with resting him. losing him doesn’t mean we lost too, we can still very much win the game still

  14. Affectionate-Tea9224

I’m really hoping his doubtful status is based on being up 1-0, and would be different if it was 0-1 he’d be questionable

  15. Duck_God69

You think deuce gets any minutes or does thibs just fall back on a 8 man rotation? I’d lean more toward him using an 8 man rotation and that’s probably the right move

  16. If there is any chance of aggravating the injury, I hope he sits this game.

We need him, I’d rather try to win 1 game without him than risk not having him for the other games after.

  17. confuddly

closing lineup: Brunson – IQ – Grimes – Randle – Ihart.

There is nothing wrong with that lineup, do not fear

  18. Would be nice if RJ pulled a great game out of his ass

  19. Sammyc271

Big loss but this makes the game 1 win even bigger.

  20. DarkAzuree

This would be a very huge blow to the defensive structure of the Knicks, one that Cleveland will surely exploit.

  21. Successful_Cup_1882

RJ HAS to step up if he doesn’t I don’t think he can come back to NY for game 3 lol.

  22. cesarjulius

next man up. our first 8 game win streak this season was without hart. WITH hart, winning game two would be tough. cleveland’s back is against the wall. without him, it’s tougher but absolutely doable. we did not play great in game 1.

  23. StruggleOk4163

Yes IQ and Grimes, but I think Deuce deserves a couple mins if Hart has to sit. Especially if we build a lead at any point. Let him go dog out with fresh legs.

  24. BeingMikeHunt

This is where the playoff schedule helps so much.
Game 3 is not until Friday – if he only misses one game, not the end of the world

  25. prudent_marlin37

Even as a Cavs fan it’s tough seeing guys miss playoffs games. Playoffs as a whole is better when teams are full strength.

  26. ClaudyMonet

Time for RJ to have an outlier of a game and put up 27/8/6

  27. severinks

I think Hart plays even if Tibs has to inject some Paingoway straight into the guy’s ankle himself

  28. velocissimo

We gotta make sure to really fill those passing lanes now

  29. i-piss-excellence32

If rj gives us the same defense and passing that’s good. He needs to step up the offense though, take no more than 3, 3 pointers and drive to the rim. Allen and Mobley are soft and won’t be able to do anything to him inside.

Iq I have full confidence is gonna cook them in game 2
