If trade actually happens I wish Dame the best. One of the most loyal players in the league right now, he deserves to be on a at least contending team.

if they don't get the top pick in the lottery, they should trade dame immediately. If they got the top pick, they should check if wemby is awesome and see if they can contend, if not they should still trade dame in the next year's trade deadline or trade the pick to get a win now star. the lottery will decide Dame's future in portland.

The Blazers are definitely fucked. But they shot themselves in the dick in the first place. 10 years of doing jack shit to improve. Just being content with repeating the same everything every single season and year. Anyone who actually thinks we have even the slightest chances to pull off a needle moving trade is delusional. We're absolutely damned. They're actively avoiding a total rebuild like the plague, yet simultaneously, they're incapable of improving the team in any meaningful way, especially financially. They tied their own hands up. They have no actual choice in the matter. Nurk's contract was a clear mistake, and his value is at a all time low. Ant's contract is definitely too inflated for his actual value to any team, but thankfully, team's overvalue the crap outta him. And Dame is dame. But see, that's it – Ant & Dame are the only real players of value in trades for us. Nurk is not valuable at this point (I hate to say it since I love the guy, but he's more of a negative than a positive at this point), and we'd be idiots to put it VERY lightly if we dared trade Shaedon away. Somehow we need to fandangle a way to pull off quality trades that allow us to enter a proper full scale rebuild, while avoiding trading Shaedon away at least, if not manage to also keep Trendon and maybe Keon too to build around.
