Minnesota Timberwolves Season Has Erupted Into Chaos

The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 113-108 Sunday after center Rudy Gobert threw a punch at teammate Kyle Anderson during a timeout. Here’s what you need to know: Gobert was sent home after the incident, league sources tell The Athletic, which occurred right before halftime as the Timberwolves trailed the Pelicans in a game with playoff position implications. Gobert threw the punch after he and Anderson exchanged words, replays showed. The jab didn’t land and teammates immediately grabbed Gobert and stepped between the two. Minnesota’s Taurean Prince, who was seated during the altercation, immediately stood up and shoved Gobert in response to the punch. Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels also suffered a broken right hand after punching a wall exiting the game, per league sources. s/a — https://theathletic.com/4395397/2023/04/09/timberwolves-rudy-gobert-kyle-anderson-punch/

  1. I guess that trade is officially a punch to the face of twolves franchise

  2. I wanted Gobert on the Hawks. Our search hasn't been good, either. But I am sooooo glad we didn't trade for Gobert. Don't know what the Wolves were thinking, giving up all that capital for him.
