Sabonis deliberately baited him with the ankle grab.
Draymond took the bait and got himself ejected.

Dray was just practicing

Sabonis baited Draymond and he bit. He should know better but it is what it is. End of story. Moving on. Let’s do everything to win these next two. If we hear “light the beam” in Chase, as defending champs, as a dynasty, it’s humiliating and the worst possible feeling. It means the NBA will remove our dynasty status. It means this whole thing we have had for 7 years is OVER. I now have LTB PTSD. Just win and stop humiliating us as fans Warriors.

Sabonis is far from innocent.

The punch, and the stomp.
Hell of a way to bracket a year while trying to catch a bag.

I know they both played petty but got damn I wish draymond could be the bigger man and just feed off of it in a positive way

Dray was 100x more of a pissbaby about getting his leg grabbed than Dillon Brooks. Just facts.

I wish the Mods would take this post down. This post perpetuates a false narrative that is very ANTI-Warriors.
There is enuff bullshit on r/nba no need to feed the monsters with this garbage comparison on a PRO-Warrior sub. Dray DID NOT INTENTIONALLY stomp or launch off anyone. Sabonis DID INTENTIONALLY try to hurt Draymond.
This sub has been taken over by r/nba nephews….toxic.

Watch the slo-mo replay. He instinctively reaches his arm up to cover his head. Natural instinct when you fall down with a bunch of people jumping over you. Dray’s ankle happened to be in the path.

Draymond was low IQ in that moment falling for something so obvious.
I blame his enablers that always tell him it’s someone else’s fault.
incredibleamadeuscho
Draymond out here being Seth Rollins.

…Hardley innocent

Poussin missed the angle where the baby was wrapping around his ankle.
…Oops, was that too soon?

I think one thing getting overlooked a lot is why Sabonis was on the floor anyway. Every replay you look at makes it seem like Klay was doing a typical box out and than Sabonis is just on the floor immediately. Klay needs to be checked for PEDs if his box outs are sending big men tumbling

When you have a bad team culture and don’t punish players for knocking out their own teammates, this is the eventual result, you empowered your player to be violent, they’ll continue to be violent
