Draymond is a clown and the team might in fact be better with him off the court in this series. He can't protect the rim or guard the like or Fox and Monk on the perimeter and we all know that offensively his biggest contribution is turnovers as he stands like a statue and stars daggers into the player he is going to pass the ball to.
The old core of the dubs is just getting run raged by a team that is comfortable playing as fast or faster than them. Klay is a non factor and even when he shoots well they are paying $40 Mil and playing heavy minutes for a guy who is effectively Kyle Korver at this point because he is just as defensively comprised as Poole. Speaking of which Poole is injured and providing nothing because his pace and speed is gone so all he can do is give up points of defense.
You might well get better performances and maybe playable performances from the bench at home but if the Dubs don't try something different then they are the ones will get swept and they will deserve it.

The warriors have too many problems. 1, their bench isn’t as good as we think. Too inconsistent and don’t players stress just straight up unplayable (lamb, Jmike, Poole at times). Iguodala is old and injured and the youngsters are not experienced enough. 2, dray and Loon are not scoring threats which puts more pressure on the other guys to score. In todays nba most teams have 5 guys on the court who can score and shoot 3s. 3, Steph looks exhausted out there. He 27:17 is 35 with so Mitch mileage on his body. That is a major problem because it’s just the first round. I don’t see this team making a deep run.

Kings fan here, Draymond was an idiot for that move. Not because of his intentions but his execution, he totally could've fallen on Sabonis, a la Zaza Pachulia style, and gotten the same effect. Still probably gets a foul but could've stayed in the game to help the Warriors out.

Moody needs to play 20mins. He looked pretty solid last night in the moment. Other than the 2 quick fouls he was solid. 4pts 5rebs and 1 assist in 8:30mins.
Poole looked like he didn’t really care. He was playing on the bench in the 4th. Why though….his mentality wasn’t serious enough for me.
DDV & Poole gotta give us more on the road. Hopefully they play better at home.

Kings are moving faster more frequently than Warriors, and they are doing it methodically. They are giving the Warriors a spoon of their own medicine. Warriors try to play quickly as a way to compensate their lack of height and strength. Now the Kings are doing the same, and if they beat Warriors in this playoffs series, they will repeat it at the next round and might win the NBA championship. This is more a battle between the minds of the coaches.

Klay, Poole&Kuminga
Klay-This guy is getting cooked on most plays. He has the ability every now and again to lock players up for a few plays but over the course of a game he’s just getting blown by.
More importantly though he is simply not doing enough offensively to make up for it. He’s basically matching wiggins in points but at least wiggins is the guy playing very good defence most of the game.
Poole – I get that he’s going to have good games and bad games because he’s a streaky sort of scorer but 4 points is embarrassing after being handed a max deal. He needs to be able to keep the score close during the minutes steph is sitting.
And before people get on me for placing blame on kuminga hear me out.
This guy needed to make a jump this year into being a regular rotational piece able to contribute something off the bench. He has been absolutely terrible. And it’s on things that shouldn’t matter even if he’s only in his second year. He should be able to get up and compete for rebounds better. His defence has to be better.
When people mention our size I actually don’t think it’s a 7ft Center we need it’s a big wing able to grab rebounds and defend like Otto did. Kuminga can’t do that.
We all wanted our cake and eat it too with developing young guys with the core but it’s clear to see this isn’t working. Either they just aren’t good enough or they need starter minutes to develop which we can’t give them.
No matter what happens these playoffs we need to make a big move in my opinion and use Pooles contract along with a kuminga and picks to bring in someone who can help us win another one with Steph.
Kuminga and Poole are not going to be those guys when the core ends that can elevate us to playoff and championship glory so what are we even doing with them.

Moody, heard many say he can’t play D last night showed that is bull. That 7’1, wingspan and better athleticism than he gets credit for. If we lose a game at Chase look for major trades in off season!
