true. The nets suck and like it or not they’re giving us a run for our money. Saving grace is that the sixers are probably playing down to their opponents level, but the fact is that this level of play won’t beat the celtics

Honestly glad Brooklyn is running this game plan. It’s the next step for Joel, becoming a high level passer and using his gravity to get everyone else going. You can see how easy the team falls into the routine of “Feed big fella” and they just stand around and watch. It’s kind of maddening. But 2nd half last night – hey, we’re moving the ball, we’re using the dunker’s spot, we’re cutting! Like a real basketball team! The only way they get over the hump is to have a balanced attack and be able to rely on mutliple contributions instead of Jo just sleepwalking to 40 every night.

Hopefully we can take the next 2 games and give the team and extra few days of rest before the next series.

Is it me, or have the Nets bigs been explicitly targeting Embiid’s back with cheap shots. Can’t be the only one who noticed this….

I actually love that the Nets are going all out to stop Joel and throwing doubles and even triples every single time he gets the ball. These are really good reps for him and the other guys to get in an intense situation to consistently find ways to pass out and attack them in different ways. That should hopefully pay dividends for Boston and hopefully Milwaukee too. Him playing straight up is easy money but facing so many doubles from different areas is something that doesn’t happen in the reg season so this is just giving him more and more practice in attacking them so it won’t be a shock when better teams try that approach

What can we do as fans to help our team beat the Celtics? I’m talking about something like what Demar’s daughter did. Lol

Didn’t know CMC was a basketball fan. Wonder if he learned anything from the Eagles stomping him?
