[Tim Kawakami] So Draymond got tossed out of the last 7 minutes of a close game, is suspended for the next one and is 2 Flagrant points away from another playoff suspension. That is a lot of multiple jeopardy there. I’d say this about any player on any team in this situation.

You know it’s egregious when TK, the biggest defender of league BS because he loves playing naysayer, is calling it out.

If the Warriors lose, I think there’s a very good chance Dray never gets another contract here.

  2. AutomaticFootball352

Im not surprised. The league hates the Warriors since the majority of owners (the real “rulers” of the league not Adam Silver) hate the Warriors. They have and will fuck us over at any opportunity. The entire new fucking CBA is designed to screw us over & knee-cap any attempts to prolong the Big 3 core

  3. ManufacturerJumpy748

And Sabo is gonna start, ain’t he?

  4. CookieMonsterNova

joe dumars was part of the kings front office. let that sink in a bit

  5. spankyourkopita

Fucking bs. Sabonis did all that and got away with all that. His rib better be broken.

  6. It’s pretty obvious that the league originally wasn’t going to suspend him but changed their mind after all the crying on social media when it came out earlier today

  7. park7911

Whether we like it or not, Draymond has a history and reputation.

It’s up to him to show more self control on the court. Downvote away.

It’s happened multiple times now and I’m tired of it.

Sabonis shouldn’t have grabbed his ankle, but this is where all the previous incidents gets him into trouble. It’s a cumulative effect.

  8. whinenaught

Draymond could have avoided this but he chose to make a poor decision

  9. CarryOnUptheMorning

We all know it’s bullshit let’s just win the next four and laugh at everyone again happy days.

  10. Fresh-Ad6095

Dray knows better. He’s been in this situation so many times. He deserves it

  11. AccomplishedRow6685

He stomped. It was foolish and he deserved to be ejected and suspended a game.

BUT…Sabonis was the instigator. Sabonis deserves the same or worse because he fucking started it.

The NBA has just rewarded Sabonis and the Kings for flopping onto the floor and tugging at an opposing player’s leg. Unequivocally hostile and in no way possibly a basketball play.

  12. ProfessionalSpirit84

Bro if Draymonds dumbass goes and gets two more flagrant points that Mf deserves to be suspended again

He has to learn at some point

  13. SCalifornia831

That’s kind of the point – if you get a flagrant 2, they want harsh penalties so you stop doing non basketball related antics on the court

  14. t-macattack

Draymond cost us yet another playoff series

  15. Grooveh_Baby

So the stomp pretty much cost us two matches. If we had Dray for those final minutes, I’m sure we would’ve won. The momentum was on our side, were on a fast break to cut the lead to 2 & then he gets ejected.

Gonna be so reliant on JP to run the offense in the non-Curry minutes. Will need an actual good performance from him.

  16. EloWhisperer

It’s not even a stomp more like a step over his body

  17. HeyHeyImTheMonkey

I still believe that the post-stomp taunting of the crowd had a lot to do with the suspension. That was insane, and he is very lucky that didn’t boil over and become something way worse.

  18. envisionJayy

I see a DDV start and Wiggins gets pushed back to PF. Thats our adjustment most likely

  19. bershka321

Way I see it the ejection was for the stomp, suspension is for the shitty crowd antics.

  20. jammer33090

Draymond did the right thing by stomping on him. People can’t be pulling bullshit like that, and risking injury to players.

  21. Chopped_In_Half

He earned that suspension. What else can you say? He fucked the team.

  22. International_System

We can’t just see this as the incident alone. If another player does it sure an ejection is fine. But when a player has a history of this they will get punished harder it’s really that simple. It isn’t about the league choosing sides it’s the league being fed up by Draymond

  23. Avgsizedweiner

Only one more punch out for a free sandwich at subway

  24. Gstephenson19

No, no you wouldn’t say that about any player on any team. Flagrant was for the foul, suspension for the foul and taunting the crowd, flagrant points don’t happen just because of one game, so what’s your point

Downvote all you want guys, this is the truth and I can’t believe y’all are justifying this guy after the Poole incident, KD leaving cause of him…

  25. watabadidea

So what is he suggesting? Is he saying that the league shouldn’t suspend guys for accumulated flagrant foul points in the playoffs? Or that being kicked out of a game should give you immunity from further suspension? Or that Dray didn’t deserved to be kicked out of the game with 7 minutes remaining?

If he isn’t suggesting one of those, then what “solution” is he actually proposing here?

    >I’d say this about any player on any team in this situation.

Well we can check that, right? I feel like guys have been ejected from a playoff game and then suspended for an additional game in the past year, right?

Did TK put out a similar tweet about “multiple jeopardies”?

  26. BigDaddyMoonCricket

He’s been kicking people in the nuts and being a hazard for years. That being said I’m a huuuge draymond fan and he should get away with what he can for the sake of his team.

Guys like him, Marcus Smart, lambeer, Rodman and artest are the best of what the NBA has to
    Offer.

I had the pleasure today of listening to Bill Walton speak at a function and talked to him for about 5 min afterwards. Dude has birth defects and has had apparently 30 foot surgeries and couldn’t speak properly until he was 28…but had the heart to compete. At the end of the day Dray is doing all he can to win and I appreciate him.

In 10 years Steph will be in the HOF and dray will be there shortly after (I don’t think klay will make it). If that means he had to kick a few fools in the nuts on the way there….so be it.

    > Multiple jeopardy is the theory that the various factors of one’s identity that lead to discrimination or oppression, such as gender, class, or race, have a multiplicative effect on the discrimination that person experiences.

Lol if you believe Draymond is some sort of victim here you get a gold medal for mental gymnastics folks.

  28. coach_rambo

I can’t wait until his ass is a Laker.

  29. Piratex72

Delusional warrior fans keep arguing that draymond didnt deserve this. Kings in 4.

  30. AnyAdvertising7623

Pissed at Dray but this idea that “he has a history” is ridiculous..judge each act accordingly

  31. Fragrant-Astronaut57

Kings profited greatly off the dirty play that THEY initiated. No repercussions for them whatsoever
