[Wojnarowski] NBA Executive VP Joe Dumars tells ESPN on Draymond Green punishment: “Here’s what it came down to: Excessive and over-the-top actions, conduct detrimental and a repeat offender. That’s what separates this where you end up with a suspension.” Story soon on ESPN.

That’s a lot of words to say “fucked around, found out”

  2. slysonic7

What is this logical decision making and why has it been absent for so long?

  3. HokageEzio

Translation: “Don’t cut a heel promo after.”

  4. ThrowawayCorporate2

0% chance he gets suspended if he doesn’t antagonize the crowd like a WWE heel. What a fucking moron

  5. J_Otherwise

I think Domas knowingly grabbed Dray’s foot, but you just don’t stomp on someone’s chest.

What separates this? If this wasnt Draymond its easily a suspension without much of a debate or overexplanation because its common sense.

  7. Total_Customer_6627

God I hope the Warriors 0-4 this series and get swept.

  8. Mf stomped on someone’s chest while the commissioner was sitting in the audience watching. Open and shut case 🤣

    Right foot two stomps

    *Stomp Stomp*

ESPN clowns have been defending Draymond all morning. Get Up, First Take, J Will, Stephen A, Redick, Mad Dog etc etc Glad they reiterated again. He’s a habitual Codebreaker.

Pretty funny most of their reasoning is that he’s a repeat offender. Like it’s not enough he legit stomped on someone’s chest, but he’s got a history of dirty shit so that’s why we have to suspend him.

  12. Zotmaster

Why would people think Draymond is dirty or a repeat offender? Other than with Adams…and LeBron…and Kyrie…and Harden…and Grant Williams…and Jaylen Brown…and Herb Jones…and that teammate he punched… probably someone I’m forgetting…and now Sabonis…when has he ever cheap shotted or tried to cheap shot someone?

  13. DancingConstellation

Dirtiest player in the league and he should be banned

Podcast coming soon. Don’t forget to subscribe

Too bad for the GSW is Green will be staying for 1 more year. He wouldn’t pass on that 27m salary

  16. Muskarat

Bro if Demarcus Cousins did this they would’ve shipped his ass to Guantanamo

  17. ericfoster2003

It’s too bad this has overshadowed how well Sacramento has played the last 2 games. All year, we begged for more defense, and we have finally received it at the right time.

  18. Listening_Heads

After caving in a man’s chest, he probably would’ve gotten away with it if he hadn’t screamed into the crowd where the commissioner of the NBA was sitting, “y’all bunch of pussies”.

  19. Murphy_York

It was an egregious stomp. There was no debate lol. People can do mental gymnastics to convince themselves of anything tho

  20. darthllama

I honestly thought the stomp itself warranted one game, and his history/antagonizing the crowd warranted a second.

  21. Yoesito

Draymond needs to be a repeat offender to get a suspension, but I guarantee any other player would’ve gotten one even if it was their first ever altercation.

  22. you’d think after costing them the ring in 2016, he’d chill out. bruh is out there playing the wrong sport.

  23. AKA you’re a piece of shit and don’t get the benefit of the doubt.

  24. carrotcakecorgi

There seems to be 2 takes from Warriors fans.

    1) Sick of Draymond and his antics. Want him traded.

    2) Adam Silver is part of a secret woke cult out to end the Warriors dynasty.

  25. Unkempt_Foliage

You could have no priors and no history and this should still be a suspension. If LeBron, a superstar with a record of not fouling, stomped another player I would still think it would warrant a suspension.

I am amazed at the people defending this.
