[Rich Hoffman] Doc Rivers, in the middle of an answer about the Sixers’ free throws in Game 2: “This is more of a league stat, not our stat, the two guys that get fouled the most in the league and it’s not called are James and Joel. In the whole league! And that’s a fact.”

I wonder if the team has some sort of tracking stat for this or if Doc is just pulling a Kendrick Perkins “That’s Facts!!” Either way, I support it. James needs to start getting some of these calls

James will be getting his first free throws of the series tomorrow

Yes! Love that he’s encouraging more complaining and bitching! The thing that holds both of them back. Imagine how unstoppable they’d be if they had a coach demanding they forget about no-calls and continue to play on.

Asinine that James freaking Harden hasn’t gone to the line yet. Gotta fix this before we play the Celtics or Bucks where every point and FT attempt will be crucial.

Good, it usually works when coaches say this. Last season Nick Nurse bitched about embiid getting too many free throws and then he was allowed to get mobbed.

Is it just me, or is Harden not going to the line mostly on the refs for not calling obvious shit on his drives, or does it have more to do with Harden’s lack of burst?

I’ve seen a handful of plays through these two games where he was hacked and there was no call. Now, should he be earning the 12 FTs a game he’s used to average? No. But should he at least have been given 6 shots in each of these two games? Probably.

I’m just not as worried about Harden as a lot of people in the community are. Could be wrong, but that’s just how I’m feeling.
