It’s actually funny if you look at all the takes beforehand, everybody including Knicks fans thought that if the refs allowed physicality that the Knicks would continue to prosper (which based off game 1 is understandable).

Then you flip the script and see them get mad we were able to be physical this game and say that it wasn’t reffed evenly? I mean shit we lost a much closer game and while there were complaints about game 1 reffing most just pointed to our own issues like scoring and rebounding rather than blaming the refs.

Need to continue to play physical and play our game in game 3 and beyond, can’t get complacent or let them punch us in the mouth. Refs have been letting a lot slide in both games and we gotta take advantage and be the more aggressive team.

Knicks played crazy sloppy. You can’t win the game if you’re tossing the ball at your teammate’s back or out of bounds half the time

As a Cleveland sports fan, you should know that refs routinely call bullshit in garbage time when a game is out of hand to give the illusion of fairness, all the while (seemingly) helping to control outcomes when it counts. The Cavs earned the win, no doubt, but let’s not pretend a healthy amount of us weren’t bitching about the refs in game 1. And the physicality afforded to us was lopsided in our favor first half game 2. Anyone who has watched playoff basketball in the last 20 years knows this is how the league operates, only now there’s just an extra heaping of ref incompetence to throw off the scent. Ok now I can remove my tin foil hat.

  4. Free throws aren’t solely indicative of ref favoritism. Come on.
