REKAP: 🏀 Chicago Bulls 109-105 Thrilling Play-In Tournament WIN Over The Toronto Raptors



Wow! What a win from the Chicago Bulls to keep their season alive. Down 19, somehow, some way, the Bulls dug deep and became the 1st 10 seed to ever win a play-in tournament game. Zach LaVine was sensational in the 2nd half. He scored 28 in the half and 39 for the game. Kap says he was on a different level and ‘eye popping’. DeMar DeRozan topped the 20 point plateau yet again, but it was more about what his daughter Diar did when the Raptors were at the free throw line. She screamed loud enough to hear on the broadcast and Toronto shot just 18-36 from the charity stripe.

The Bulls survive and now play the Miami Heat on Friday. Win and get Milwaukee. Lose and go home. At least for another night, the Bulls season marches on.

    Bulls needed Zach, Demar, and Vooch offense and lock down team defense. Thank goodness Bulls provided those things in the second half with absolutely no help from the referees. When nothing is going right turn up the defense and Zach put the team on his shoulders and delivered.

    Zach really turned it on after Van Fleet hit that high arcing 3 over him. He was pissed. He was not to be denied next possession or any other after that.

    You doubted Chicago all year, even pregame you said they had absolutely no chance. Not sure why. #1 defense since January 1st. They have all the tools.

    They play way better when demar isn’t the primary ball handler. Saw that switch happen and then the momentum changed.

    This team is good. Early season losses accumulated because of Lavine being far less than 100% + Caruso being in and out of lineup. Javonte was injured. It created inconsistency.

    Coby gets hot towards end of year. Pat developed a lot this year. Damn even Billy Donovan showed improvement tonight, I didn’t know he had that in him to adjust like that.

    Demar’s daughter gets the game ball. She yelled at every Raptor foul shot and they missed 18 FT’s (43%). Even the announcers recognized this little girl’s efforts!

    Definitely Think Demar Daughter Was KEY, That Absolutely Had To Have A Impact!!!… LaVine Showed EXACTLY What I Thought He Could Be When I Wanted The Bulls To Get Him & Add Him To Rose, Jimmy, Pau & Noah Back In 2016 When We Should’ve Beat Cleveland That Year In The Playoffs Had Them 2-1 With The Lead & 3 Secs Left.. But Demar HAS TO GO Next Season, Cause Patrick Williams Showed Me In One Game That IF Put In Position As That 2nd Guy He Can Be Kawhi Leonard. People Forget Kawhi Didn’t Turn Into Kawhi Till Duncan & Parker Was Gone, Unfortunately Some Guys Gotta Be Forced To Be The Guy! Get A Rim Protecting PF This Summer & Start Patrick At SF , He’s The 2nd Option After Zach & Vucevic As Your 3rd Scoring Option & Watch This Team Improve!! 💯

    What an exiting game. Team showed a lot of heart to stick with it in the second half. Zach was off the charts. Defense was huge. We're 3-0 vs Miami this year, with 2 of those wins in Miami. Makes me both confident and a bit nervous. Jimmy and the Heat will have a chip on their shoulder. Their reward for winning in Miami…Milwaukee. We all know how that went last time. I am under no illusion that they are true title contenders this year, but I'll enjoy the ride as long as I can.
