Well, thats all up to trae…..we could keep him and regret it too. Trae has found himself at a crossroads

so many outside eyes looking in. when mentioning traes shooting no one mentions he has a new role on the team now that we have djm. the mid season coaching change. the confusing offense we are running because we’re stuck between our old offense and installing new things. im holding my tongue for a year

It really depends on how the league values him, for all we know we could get a star in return who shines here. Obviously I’d prefer Trae never leaves though

Realistically, I don’t think we can trade Trae for a better return (I also don’t want us to trade him). Realistically, we should wait until Quin has what he wants in the roster before complaining that we’re losing to the 2-seed Celtics. We don’t know what Quin’s vision for the team is yet. We are not a championship team right now.

If Trae is ever traded, it’s not because the hawks wanted that. It’s going to be all on Trae wanting out. Don’t see how that’s being overlooked here. If this kind of playoff run continues this year and then next year, who knows what happens. The hawks have given to every demand that Trae wants. Once he sees that he can’t ask for more because of roster construction and lack of draft picks, he will be gone. That’s the Klutch way. They have one year to get this right.

I love Trae and i want him to be a Hawk forever, but at the same time if we could get a Jaylen Brown or Bradley Beal who is more a realistic target, u take it . DJ can go back to his natural position, which is better for him cause he too skinny to guard bigger 2s,.I see adding either player as a win. I would be even more happier if we could trade DJ for one of those guys, But i figure Trae has the higher trade value, i could be wrong though.

Trae’s gotta show signs of life in the playoffs, I get what fans are saying but if he remains less than a non-factor and borderline unplayable in the first round let alone further then can you really blame the Hawks for moving on?
