The Numbers say this NBA Draft is really thin. Are there any sleepers? How can Jazz profit?



It is the final day of David Locke’s NBA Draft numbers and the overall conclusion is this year’s draft class has worse numbers than year’s past. How can the Utah Jazz profit off this in the draft class and how do the Jazz take advantage of class that might be missing talent?

Locke looks at picks 30-50 and finds 1 maybe 2 sleepers in the draft. Are they players the Jazz would make a run at with their 27th pick of the draft.

    Wasn't the whole narrative tank because what a great draft year? Unless the title is click bait.

    Zach Edey. Younger, bigger, more mobile version of boban. He's also used to a high usage and has tons of experience as a number 1 option and passing out of the post. I think at the very least he's a guy you can build an elite bench unit around. If walker develops a 3 ball and Edey proves to be the force I think he will be then you have the super sized, abuse whichever small guy is out there lineup that may be unique enough to bring a chip to the smallest market in the NBA. It's not going to happen through conventional means in my opinion.

    I appreciate you TRYING to make it more about the journey and the human side…….but drafts lile these are how you end up turning a 36 month plan into a 72 or 84 month plan because you just keep drafting different flavors of Royce O'Neal. Its why I think the Lakers pick having top-4 protection is HORSESHIT. The ENTIRE point of that trade was supposed to be to get ONE bite at a top 4 guy, DUH. I swear the league phoned in and told Danny he has to take an L on this trade on purpose to make up for how bad he fleeced the Wolves. Im not even joking.

    Also, it sucks the only guy worth a damn after VW and Scoot comes with issues. Cause Im sure gun celebration guy is gonna fit right in and want to play in whyte Utah. They never do.
