Aye don’t lie I remember the vid where you said Johnny Davis was your Beal replacement. Some of these things were more general like Hali and Sengun, and dinwiddie was used to get porzingis
I hope the Wizards blow it up and follow the Thunder path. DC deserves a NBA team with an optimistic future and many winning years after the rebuild.

Beal tied up with the Wizards kinda screwed him. The team’s direction was to be in purgatory and try to win games with Beal. Realistically, they should’ve traded him a while ago. I said this when he signed the supermax: he’s gonna sign the max, butter up the Wizards how he wants to be there and win for the rest of his career, and request a trade within 2 years of signing the contract. Drafting Rui and Deni at their respective times was good. It’s just hindsight bias that makes it look bad. Johnny Davis was a bad pick I’ll say that though. But don’t knock on him for Rui and Deni at the time.

Nah thats cap.. Deni was projected to be a top 4 pick in the draft by the Bulls, the fact that WAS had him at the 9th pick was considered a steal at the time and I bet most of ya'll felt that way too… He didn't turn out to be the superstar he was expected to but he is an extremely valueable role and defensive player that definatly makes the team better 90% of the time he's on the court.

Seeing what Rui is doing now with the LA in the playoffs says a lot about player development in Washington. That wasn't a Rui problem 🤷🏿♂️

He got denny which has huge talent everyone who sees him understand that but than dont let him to develop and makes him the 4th or 5th option on the team. I honestly beleive that the wizards can build around deni and he has the potential to be like markenen (we saw it in the eurobasket 6 months ago) but he couldnt develop properly with thus rister. I hipe the next GM will have a plan and decides if he wants to rebuild or build a playoff team cause tomy seems like a nice guy bud he had no idea which way to go
