He has always been overated. A supermax player should be shooting better than 17% from 3 over his last 8 playoff games. No leadership or defense from him.
No way Trae can be overrated. He can't even make the all-star team. Even when they made the eastern finals run nobody in the "national media" believed in him.
Trae Young seemingly is the guy who takes his ball home, if things don't go his way.

I read this somewhere else…This poll was conducted with only 54 total players and he only had 7 total votes. If that's true- This doesn't mean anything. That's just 12%….Totally overblown report.
Tha hawks have a group of starters that can't shoot . So you can't have everyone shooting threes. Put Collins or Hunter on the low block and let them work
Great show! I disagree with the Trae is overrated topic. First of all they only polled 25% of the players. That's not even half of the league. So how can we come away with an accurate assessment? Secondly, Nate and Loyd Pierce needed to be fired. Loyd was an unproven first time coach and Nate was an old school disciplinarian who resisted change and was reluctant to play younger prospects. He's not a great X's and O's coach either and he had lost the locker room. Trae is a very good player on a mediocre team. A team that lacks versatility, lacks an identity and has no defensive stopper. He gets the blame for everyone else's shortcomings as well as his own. Let's face it the Hawks are a bad organization historically speaking and haven't done well in the draft lately when you consider that they've missed on three consecutive lottery picks. Hunter is a role player who seems to have hit his ceiling. Onyeka is a back up and Reddish has gone bye bye. In free agency they focused on shooters but not on well rounded ball players. That's why we look so bad when Trae struggles.
lol. luka and kyrie missed the playoffs this year….kyrie was swept in the 1st round last yea btw….dame missed the playoffs this year….curry might get swept in the 1st round….idk what im missing here. seems like this is more of a popularity contest than it is judging someones game and accomplishments. every time trae sees garland he smokes em. deaaron makes the playoffs once and now hes the new darling i guess. listen all these pg's are great but trae is right there with them and the best passer out of all them. this is simply a popularity contest that trae is losing.
