I think Masai is just another psychopath. He did Nick dirty to distract from his incompetence in building and shaping a roster. He blew the trade deadline in multiple ways. And even this…..I don't hear him taking any blame at all? All Nick? Doesn't the buck stop at you Masai? You have nothing to do with the culture of the team? This is the same guy that lied to DeMar's face.

I think Masai said it best, we had players perform well at certain points of the season… but never together as a team. Now Masai has to take a REAL close look at the roster build. If you ask yourself, when particular players are having a good game who ADDS to overall team play. I really only see two players on this roster that can do that. Siakam with drawing doubles and being a capable passer, and Scottie. When they are both on form they contribute immensely to team chemistry. I just dont see that from anyone else including Fred. When Fred has a good game it isnt him getting 10 plus assists. Its him hitting 50% of his 3s.
Nothing wrong with a culture reset. Now, the pressure is squarely on Bobby and Masai to build a successful team and culture. The buck stops with them. No hiding behind the coach.
I don’t know why he keeps saying we are going to win. We are far from it. You have to build and develop and sign players. None of these things we are doing well.

Freddy was all about his bag this year. Let him walk and let Scottie "Magic" run the show. The 3 headed monster is Scottie, OG, and P. We got Jak and I'm willing to keep GTJ in place of FVV. Give OPJ a healthy year to evaluate and bring in more shooters.

He's a top 5 coach and coaching wasn't the problem, he's not the one who traded a first round pick for a rotation piece, or crafted the worst shooting team in the nba. I think that this team over achieved last year. This team is exactly what its record was. I feel this team had no one to replace the starters and they were definitively over worked by the end of the year as shown by the number of lost games in the fourth quarter. There has to be more people held accountable for this team. Unfortunately Nurse is the fall guy. “You can’t make steak out of ground beef” fits this team. Nurse had no faith in the bench and what I saw he was correct. “Good Luck coach Nurse” where ever the “Basketball Gods” take you

My opinion of Masai has changed drastically in the last couple years. He should've been let go, not Nurse.
The firing was not unexpected but what surprised me is Nick getting fired so fast. We need a smart coach.
