if rj struggles again in game 3, which he likely will, then it's definitely time to put him on the bench and bring quickley into the starting lineup as jj mentioned. he is giving the knicks nothing on either end and clogging up the lanes for all the players that the knicks rely on to create shots.
4 years into the league you simply can't have the limited handles, offensive package and lack of shooting that have plagued rj throughout his entire career.
As a knicks fan I’m scared they figured us out. Shut down brunson, we revert back to 2022 knicks who could not score to save their lives.

Stupid knicks gave RJ an extension after his 3rd season instead of waiting till he becomes a restricted free agent now we're stuck with him definetly can't build a contender with him on the team
Ive defended RJ barrett all year because so many people hate him for dumb reasons. However he DOES need to finally show up here in the playoffs more than anything
The Knicks were a disaster in game 2 I still think it’ll be a battle but man RJ has fallen off a cliff his jumper is trash now
The Knicks waited to long to trade Barrett, they’re gonna keep waiting and end up getting half of what they could’ve a season ago
I believe the Knicks win in spite of RJ. His points don't seem to impact the game ala Josh Hart who's presence is felt. I think if the Knicks lose this series expect RJ to be dealt or lose his starting job.
I agree about IQ. He was the runner up for 6th man and is a hustler on defense.
I don’t think he can and because of that, it’ll be even harder to move his “poison pill” contract. He’s mediocre, at his best.
I am tired of NBA players not working on their weaknesses in the off season. Randle and RJ Barrett are notorious one armed lefty bandits. How many times do I have to hear commentators say, "force him to his right". I dont really hear that said about other players in the league ( although I know that exists all over the league)
Randle needs to get going early aswell to take abit of pressure off of Brunson. Rj will be the reason knicks win or loose this series.
I watch every Cavs game and Levert has to start. Okoro can't play offense nearly well enough unfortunately – they can trap Mitchell and Garland everytime when okoro is on the floor. Leverts defense has been refreshingly good on top of that.

Knicks has a shooter, but Thibs is stubborn. He doesn't want to play him. Evan Fournier can shoot and spread the floor.
How long has rj Barrett been in the league now 5 yrs he should have a mid range shot by now bruh do players even work on shooting cause players like Rudy, speedy ,don't even look at the rim
