Great effort again tonight but we’re just clearly outmatched. Being down our top 2 role players has been too much to overcome, especially when Denver’s role players have been elite.
This is why regular season games matters though. Beat the shitty teams and we don’t have to play an elite Denver team in the 1st round.
The best positive is that Ant was elite again. He’s 21 and our future will always be bright because of him.
Let’s hope for a gentleman’s sweep at this point to give us 1 more game, but if we can’t win with that FT advantage I don’t see how we win.
Whelp….. there’s always next year.
Timberwolves basketball is back, baby!
I’m just tired and depressed
Wolves in 7
I hate to say it, but it’s time for Kat to go.
Man, their shot making is crazy…
If we only had a defender who could slow down Murray or Porter Jr.
KAT with one of the fakest box scores I’ve ever seen. He’s such a dissapointing player. Kyle Anderson was awful tonight too
I suppose that’s that first loss at home then..
We literally had 20 more free throws then them and we still lose wtf
Worst Kyle Anderson game of the season. Crushed any momentum.
Really wish we wouldn’t have choked that Lakers game.. we match up against the grizz so much better.
Bench had like 10 points? Miss Naz Reid. Miss Jaden. Now I just hope we can at least avoid a sweep.
Denver is really good, that is a fact. But, this team is not remotely close to being legitimately good, it’s as simple as that.
As constructed, this is a middle of the road roster. They just aren’t that good.
Yeah.
It’s time to move on from Kat.
He had a good night tonight by his playoff standards but when you’re constantly getting torched by guys like Brown ur just never gonna win anything significant.
This is Ants team. Get him more winning guys and let Jaden develop.
Anderson was absolutely brutal to watch tonight. He’s such a liability when he doesn’t have the ball because he just refuses to shoot open shots. Just brutal, it’s like playing 4v5 on offense.
Said this in the game thread, but shooting 27/33 from the free throw line and losing is fucking wild. Were missing defense, plain and simple. Offensively, I think we played mostly fine. But, some combination of jokic, brown, murray, or porter jr have just destroyed any run we’ve had all series.
Gonna have to make some serious decisions in the offseason. I hope the decision is to build around Ant and Jaden
Welp… Just really outclassed man. This goes back to why it was so important to get that 7th seed when we were making that push. Probably still lose to the Kings but I think it would have been more competitive. This hasn’t been close. Got to be pros all season next year, and yes, I know we had injuries but there were still a lot of winnable games does the stretch.
Got to lean that a real contending team shows up all season, not just sporadic stretches.
Hats off to Denver, they are extremely battle tested and poised. Next level stuff, that team is a buzz saw and we have been sliced right down the middle.
It just sucks so much that Jaden is out. You really wonder how different things would be.
Ant is our future and he is having valuable experience. Towns, wiggins or even love never had that opportunity. We will be better. AWOOOOOOO
Ant: still HIM and will continue to be HIM
Rudy: reffed out of the game after starting dominant
KAT: almost had a good one
Everyone else: never even showed up for the game
Please ship Finch out this off season
Anderson hitting the rim at the end is one of the dumbest actions I’ve seen in a while
10 bench points. oof.
Gobert fouling out on that “arm check” was the final nail in the coffin for tonight’s game, not that we were any closer to winning it without that call. Denver was just a better team. Ant has that dawg in him, can’t even blame him on that turnover at the end. He was the only star that was really trying all his might in this game.
KAT is a horrible defensive player.
We outshot them by 20 from the ft line, joker shot 0 fts, ant and kat had great offensive games and we still lost by 10.
There’s literally nothing we could do. It seems at any moment they have 5 guys who they focus on that can score 4-10 straight points for them in a 90 second span.
I say we rest ant next game and throw in the towel. This team is toast. Trade KAT, get an nba caliber coach, and keep it moving.
Tim Connelly – Terrorist.
Chris Finch – Terrorist.
Our Bench – Terrorists.
God hates Minnesota
Trade KAT
