Jayson Tatum says “This one tonight is on me.” “I know I get a lot of credit when we win and I take the blame when we lose. Rightfully so.”

all about how we respond. on to the next one

That’s the accountability we love to hear. Learn from it and move on.

He’s getting double team a lot. Gotta prepare for that scenario next.

That was a great response and what we’ve been waiting to hear. Usually he gives the “Whatever” type answer. I wouldn’t even say this game was his fault anyway. But leaders put the blame on their back. Great step.

Hawks played with their back against the wall. Hats off. Hopefully we can make it 4-1 and not give Embiid too much rest.

  5. Even though the Celtics do annoy me especially because of their fans, I really love Jason Tatum and I really wish he becomes the face of the league one day, I doubt he’ll be the best player in the world in the future above the likes of Giannis or Luka, but who knows.

Not a game that I’d especially blame Tatum for. You have to rebound and defend and that’s a team effort. He wasn’t amazing offensively, but it should have been enough with even passable play on the other end

Jaylen should be the one saying this if we’re being honest. Your role players help you win at home but you need your stars to show up if you wanna win on the road, and only one of our stars showed up tonight.

Jayson I love you but HOOOOW is this on you?

You played excellent defense, made killer passes with fucking 8 of them being to wide open guys that missed, and went 9-22/4-11 scoring 29.

    This isn’t on you bb.

Tatum should’ve had 20 free throws tonight

Fair enough. I trust them to finish out the series strong. Exactly what I like to hear.

It’s wild what happens when you choose not to stop the other team from scoring. Crazy stuff there.

I’m glad he’s taking his piece, truthfully it’s a pretty thin piece too, I would have liked him to go MVP mode the last 5 minutes but there were way more clearly glaring issues than that

He’s so freaking passive. Brown too. Best two guys on the floor and neither enforces their will on the game.

JB’s cut hand is clearly affecting him more than he’s letting on. Webbing most likely needs to be immobilized for days to weeks to heal and he is constantly agitating it every few days by playing highly competitive basketball. Unfortunate and the timing couldn’t be worse.
