Why would any of these Playoff teams want to part with their HoF core that got them to the Playoffs, for a player/s who hasn’t led a team to the Playoffs?
To be realistic, this team doesn’t have a strength in rebounding, and interior defense and offense, but doesn’t need a HoF player to fill those roles; a mid-level player like Buck Williams did for the floundering Blazers in ‘89, the difference-maker to Finals contention. Imho, Kelly Olynyk fits that role which wouldn’t take the young core to obtain.

The Blazers need to draft Amen Thompson and Timmey out of Gonzaga and trade Dame. Or trade Nurk and Simons for a stud center. Don't bring in a veteran SF, Thompson is good enough now.
