Inserting our only bench scoring (LeVert) into the starting lineup was a huge mistake. That lineup, regardless of how they played individually in game 2, is unbalanced. We should generally only have 2 of Mitchell, Garland, and LeVert on the floor at the same time.

I understand riding the hot hand in game 2, but freezing Okoro out of the rotation (and subbing in Rubio first) in the first quarter yesterday, especially when Brunson was so effective early, was a massive oversight. Our rotations were awful.

We most likely would’ve lost regardless with how poor most everyone was, but that needs cleaned up if we want to have a chance in this series.

The Knicks seem to have this physicality on defense and the boards – idk if it’s size or the Tom Thibodeau effect – probably both. I think Cavs are just getting outmuscled from top to bottom. It’s gonna be difficult to overcome it without simply shooting lights out

  3. I don’t really get why Danny Green is getting minutes over Stevens and Okoro, in theory he can space the floor but in reality he scores so little and the defensive tradeoff is just too big I think

It should be a class D felony to talk about this game.

Almost like moving our best offensive bench player to the starting line up wasn’t a good idea

I’m definitely not the most positive person in this sub, but I have no idea where this teams goes from here. Playing 2 bigs that struggle to score is NOT a successful strategy when it comes to playoff basketball. Then add in Okoro and now you have 3 bodies on the floor that struggle to score. Oh by the way the bench is terrible so it’s not like anyone there is going to pick up the 3 starters that struggle to score. I don’t think the rotations even matter in this series because bringing Levert off the bench is no guarantee that he’s going to give you anything. He’s more likely to go for 5 points than he is 15 points.
