He’s a nice young piece but he really needs to work on his 3-pt shooting, and his ceiling looks like all-star, not All NBA level. Feels like 3rd or maybe 2nd best player on a contender, depending on how he develops. Certainly wouldn’t mind him on my squad, but if you’re tearing down the roster and selling all your vets to build around him, you need some nice young wings and creators starting now to contend 3-4 years from now. Might be a good plan for the Raps but isn’t guaranteed or quick.
Anyone here like me who wants OG more than Siakam?
Raptors will want Sharpe in any package, I don’t see them wanting Nurk or Ant
I feel like Brooklyn will be a natural trade partner for us. But one of us has to decide to rebuild lol.
Siakam does look like a great target. But raptors fans have to realize he only has 1 year on his deal before getting a raise. If our pick drops to say 6 or 7, id probably do Simons little and that lotto pick, maybe a potential lotto protected future first if we unlock picks from Chicago.
Simons would be great on their team as a lead guard, and would fit perfectly with Barnes. Plus a good lottery pick. I’m not even thinking about sending 3 firsts or Shaedon. No chance.
