The Timberwolves don’t even look competitive after making a gigantic trade for Rudy Gobert. It’s not surprising because that franchise has been a mess for years but this is a look at why they can’t succeed with any young star and if Anthony Edwards’ career will suffer.

  1. I been a Wolves fan since 2010 since my company works with MSU, but they have made some crazy draft choices. The people of MN are awesome though!!!!! Go Mavericks of MSU!!!!

  2. Wow that was a horrible trade…and they're down 0-3 too…what were they thinking?

  3. jimmy butler played with the laziest players ever kat and ben simmons

  4. Was Tim Conley the GM who traded with the Jazz at the drafts where they got Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert? I smell smoke. 💨 🔥

  5. bro this don't make sense becasue they just got new owners and have 3 legit All-STAR level players on their team and just made the playoffs back to back years lol. This is not the time to think they heading in the wrong direction

  6. I don't think its as simple as "ruin" like some of it is the franchises fault but tbrough history some times stars only want to go to attractive cities like la or Miami. Just some food for thought

  7. Wait, Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the worst team when it comes to WIN% yet they have won a Super Bowl while teams like the Minnesota Vikings or Buffalo Bills don't even have 1 yet. Interesting.

  8. I really don’t understand why Anderson and Rudy are even out there in the 4th quarter. They are afraid to shoot and they can’t stop anyone

  9. You say Anthony Edwards, I’ll do you one better and say LaMelo Ball (as a honest Hornets fan)

  10. This is by far the best even analysis of the wolves situation. Moving KAT, embracing the defense and building around ANT is the key.

  11. I would have fire the person who presented that gobert trade on the spots .. no games nobody should have a job just for having that idea

  12. I mean every team player that left joined a great team and won a chip so i wouldnt really call that something special

  13. The Wolves were without KAT for over half the year yet they still managed the same record as last year. Give Gobert, Towns, and Edwards a full year. That is the response when people try to label the worst trade of Clippers getting Kawhi, or the worst signing of Kyrie to whatever team, or the worst draft pick as Zion to the Pels. And those guys have all under performed due to absence on multiple years.

I still think people like you are being dramatic for clicks by calling the Gobert trade the worst ever.

  14. As a Minnesotan, I wish KAT would've played somewhere else and done more with his career. Also most Minnesota residents care about other teams, we all know the wolves front office is a joke and the team will always suck because of them.

  15. The "they don't win til like 27/28" discussion actual helps support the first part. They don't win til then because they spend 7-8 years on a shitty team that can't build up a championship roster in those years

  16. The age list of their first title. WHY NO one ever mentions the spurs or TIM DUNCAN 🤷🏽‍♂️ first chip at 23.

  17. No, you either succeed at a high rate under pressure as a superstar or you don't. Meaning you are not. Take the responsibility for missing shots or not taking the shots in pressure games. Like Kevin garnet never did as a wolve. Garnet was not the main star when he got a title. No management can make you miss shots or not take on the time in a crucial moment to win. We have soft players without the shooting talent to win in big games.

  18. The Wolves suck because they have never had an established identity or culture. Raptors vaulted to the playoffs every year with "we the north". The early 2010s Grizzlies with "grit and grind. The Bucks with "fear the deer".

The Wolves need a brand and culture of some kind. They are perpetually forgettable.

  19. Trade Kat and Gobert, build around ant and jaden McDaniels. With the right pieces and maybe draft picks, they’ll be contending in 3 years or so

  20. Tell me you've never watched the Wolves without telling me.

It is constant. The bias against the small market club and the favoritism of the big market teams.

  21. make a video of the Utah jazz trade targeting targeting Luka doncic I have always been the biggest jazz fan and I hope this happens

    possible trade:
Dallas mavericks receive: Collin Sexton, Talen Horton-Tucker, Ochai Agbaji, 2025 first round pick (UTA), 2025 first round pick (MIN via UTA), 2027 first round pick (CLE via UTA), 2027 first round pick (Top 4 Protected – LAL via UTA), 2028 first round pick (UTA), 2029 first round pick (MIN via UTA)

    Utah Jazz Receive: Luka Doncic
