It didn’t look that bad watching the game. The refs were calling it tight and we were playing much more aggressive D. Plus they’re the home team and they got into the bonus early in the 3rd. End of the game did get a bit annoying with all the free throws tho.

We may not be getting to the line as much but at least Gordon is knocking them down

Absolute refs plan and nuggets still ended up winning comfortably

Rebounds tell the tale of a game so often. Look at the spread… and look at the final score.

Would have had that munder if it wasn’t for the refs

They were just practicing for when they officiate the Lakers game.

It kind of seemed like our whole defensive strategy last night depended on getting away with as many fouls as we could. It worked out pretty well so I’m not complaining.

ya, but we also shot 57%. they didnt come close enough to us to foul us or affect our shooting.

TBF we could be a bit more aggressive especially near the basket. Not that we haven’t been successful, but we’d likely have more trips to the line with more jokic post plays and cutters to the basket

Man, I bet the Association hates it when it puts its thumb on the scale to even out a series and the better team wins anyway.

As a Purdue fan who had to deal with fans pointing out the FT disparity, I want to say:
Some teams just play in the paint more and get more fouls. Edey constantly is getting fouled, so even with a disparity its often the refs are still biased against him.
I watched the game I would say the ref called it tight for both sides. There were a couple of bad missed calls, but there was no clear disparity in calls. Lakers games you will see a massive difference in the way the two teams get calls. this was not one

Hey nice! We didn’t miss any free throws! Thata boys! Knocking em all down!

The game was called fairly. One of the only games I didn’t question officiating.

Free Throw disparity is not indicative of ref bias. Fivethirtyeight just covered this [https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/busting-4-major-myths-about-referees-in-the-nba-playoffs/](https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/busting-4-major-myths-about-referees-in-the-nba-playoffs/)
