One thing that’s astonished me this series is how little the Nuggets needed to bounce back and wake up. Out of the 12 quarters played thus far, we’ve only clearly outplayed them in one, and that’s all it took for them to keep the momentum going. I’d like to see that replicated by the wolves next season, because every once in a while we lose to a team we’re supposed to beat comfortably, and that wakes us up. For Denver though, having a competitive game with that team is enough of a wake up call, so the wakeup calls don’t come at the cost of a win.
Also the hate towards KAT is crazy. Yes, he’s been pretty bad this series, but to even entertain that we should trade him for IMMANUEL QUICKLEY is outrageous. You also need to factor in the fact that anyone we trade KAT for will not be as loyal as he is to us, and I can guarantee that. He’s still a part of our core, and we haven’t played enough games to definitively say that the Gobert experiment was a failure. I would give it another season where everyone is healthy, with some retooling of the bench (Rivers, McLaughlin, Nowell, etc.)

We need their role players to finally have an off game and for our role players to finally show up.
