I am not mad at letting the ship right itself by slowly shedding bad contracts over the next two years, and extending guys like Johnson and Claxton when they become extendable.
We clearly have too much bad salary tied up in just two contracts of Simmons and Harris (nearly 60 million a year), that any move we try to make will be handicapped anyways. And Simmons stops us from being able to trade for young stars on Rookie Max extensions iirc.
So let’s give Marks a full offseason of knowing where we stand, making moves accordingly and letting guys with bad contracts go.

What I’ve taken from this:
1) Mikal is our franchise face
2) Cam Johnson is not going anywhere
3) Brooklyn will have no hesitation trading picks again if it means a star (which kinda scares me)

I like the decision to let this group grow. They’ve had lots of decent performances together just need that extra push

that last slide kills me. this should be a wakeup call to either make a huge move to compete now or start a true rebuild

Glad Marks seems to want to keep Yuta here for long-term. Very excited. I like this group too. Can’t wait for the next season!

Sorry, how big?

A lot to look forward to there’s only 3 teams that have more picks than Brooklyn from now till 2030.

I can’t stand this guy.
Part of the worst FO/Owner tandem in the league
