But it’s Rudy Gobert’s fault. Now Jarrett Allen is getting blamed on the Cavs sub. The problem is Mitchell. I’m glad I don’t have to shout with anger after every loss in the playoffs Mitchell cost us anymore

Since after the bubble, playoff Mitchell stopped being great. Bricks when his team needs the lead, no defense, and gets turnovers

Mitchell is the reason I’m a Jazz fan, that Pelicans game at the beginning of December in 2017 is when I said I’m a Jazz fan, but I’m glad we traded that playoff fraud when his trade value was at the most trade value

We need to prioritize high IQ guards in the draft. Looking at Reece Beekman!

Really ever since the blown 3-1 lead to Denver in the bubble, Donovan has just not been a clutch player, especially in the playoffs. It’s crazy watching him be a brick layer and turnover machine the past few postseasons, when earlier in his career he was dropping 38 points as a rookie to eliminate OKC and scoring 50+ in multiple games against the Nuggets in the playoffs. What happened to that Donovan?

it’s just hard to be 6’1 in this league, man. donovan can’t get to his usual spots when he’s guarded by a guy taller or stronger than him that is prepared with film. he’s a great regular season player with a few monster playoff games and i was sad to see him go, but i truly believe we got 150¢ on the dollar in the cleveland trade.

Yep overrated guards that can score are a dime a dozen. If you don’t have that clutch gene or can’t play defense you’re easily replaceable.

  6. Watching Donovan was just like old times – driving to the hoop and throwing away the possession several times just trying to do too much.

I love Donovan but he’s such a flawed player. He has statistically gotten better every year but every postseason he’s targeted on defense and never learned to deal with double teams. It’s crazy watching Jalen Brunson (tbf he’s just as bad on defense) as his counterpart for two seasons in a row and absolutely show him up.

Not shocked, he is what he is. He can’t carry a team to a championship.
