  1. it's rough, but he's not wrong. The guy lost his heart of the game. He's in it for the contract not for the team he is on.

  2. Another Team gets "Kawhi-ed". Personally I think where ever he goes fans should yell Kawhi, "Where's the Money"

  3. kawhi leonard cried wolf about his lil leg hurting. sat out a year bc his leg hurt, but was healthy enough to win a chip nxt year. hid from spurs representatives. lol. bc u did sa dirty now u reap what sow

  4. I agree that it's a click bait quote, but you do question it sometimes. His health has made him unavailable when the Clippers gave up everything to get him and PG. It's also a little strange that there was reporting yesterday that it's not a pain management issue, which would imply that he could potentially have played through the pain. I do agree with Stephen A. that you question if he really even wants to play ball sometimes

  5. Hindsight is 20/20 but it would have been best for his career staying in San Antonio or Raptors. Someone with his health can't prosper changing teams every year. He could have had at least one more ring with us or the Raps.

  6. I think what Stephen A means, that Kawhi just does not have fire in him. It is like he has to play when he is 100%. It kind of goes along with what Tony Parker said when he said he played through the worse injury. Kawhi is the leader, ace and the face of the Clippers at this point, yet, his sidekick Paul George showed up waaaaay more than Kawhi ever did. To me, Kawhi does not feel like this is his team to carry; he is merely there because of the contract and money. Since he has accomplished pretty much everything in his career, he seems like he lacks motivation and just wants to go easy rather than being a responsible leader who want to play to take the Clippers to championship.

  7. If kawhi doesn't win in Toronto he's probably not a superstar or a hof, if it wasn't for that magical year when the warriors collapsed w injuries. People forget he was a role player when he won w San Antonio. If you look up his numbers they're not gaudy and his lack of leadership and inability to communicate w teammates, injuries etc. And just hearing ty Lue finds out he can't go on a phone call the day of game 3. C'mon…Ughhhh

  8. This is weirdly a reminder that the Spurs front office did the right thing with Kawhi. If we caved to him like he wanted and he became the ruler of the Spurs (like he was in Toronto and Clippers doing whatever he decides) we would be in the same spot as the clippers, who are about to not win a title and have no picks after Kawhi is gone

  9. In retrospect its kinda surprising a team saw what Kawhi did to the Spurs and were like "Yeah we will sign up for that and bet our future on him". Like we got off easy and move on and already look better moving forward

  10. I mean he did say worst "superstar", so there is a little bit of truth there. I still respect his game and he is on a superstar level. He's just not a good superstar that is worth building upon especially after what he did to the Spurs. It's a chronic knee issue just like what the Spurs diagnosed him for so teams should know the risk of taking him as their main guy.

  11. Kawhi hasn’t been healthy in the playoffs since 2020 3 years in a row he’s been out crazy
