Some of the things he said after the game confirmed how I’d felt during the game. JB is a quietly emotional guy. He just needed to change something, anything at all, and he was going to get out of his own head. About 30 seconds before he took off the mask, me and my roommate questioned whether he was gonna keep it on after his rough play to that point.
Jaylen’s post game press conference basically confirmed that he thought maybe he was in his own head and needed to make a change. It was almost like he started playing more aggressive after he took it off. You love to see it. Let’s close it out on Tuesday.
