After losing patience earlier this season, I’m on board. Let the new regime cook.
Hats off to the FO
Now we need to see if they get the final piece of puzzle correct in the summer, aka a star wing player. If they do, we’ll be a real title contender
Honestly, they’ve done great. The Hart trade was particularly inspired. But they’ve built a playoff team, not a contender. There’s no avenue that I see where that changes. That’s fine. I’m happy to go along for the ride, but I’m not letting Dolan and Rose trick me into having hope for something that they’re not even trying to achieve. They didn’t want to do the hard thing and build through the draft, so now we have an entertaining playoff team that’ll make them a bunch of money every year. That’s great, better than we’ve had in a long time, but that’s what it is.
Sorry, not trying to be a downer, but the victory laps for having a 3-1 series lead in the fucking first round are a bit much.
Everyone is saying we should trade for a 20ppg wing that can play defense and shoot 3s but frankly I rather rock with RJ and continue to see his growth. I really think what we’ve been seeing recently is something that we can’t get so easily in players and that’s the type of guy who is resilient & can be a killer.
If it’s not a top 10 player, I’m not trading RJ.
This FO deserves apology’s from the we should have traded for spida to why did they trade reddish and all the criticism in between
If RJ can play even somewhat close to how he has the last 2 games he will 100% be worth his extension
What could anyone possibly critique Leon for? Dude turned our franchise around in 3 years. Great young talent, netted a star on a great (declining!) contract, extended two of our great young guys to long term contracts, still has cap flexibility, added a great culture guy in Hart, and continues to hold a chest of picks that could be used to upgrade our team if the right opportunity presents itself. He didn’t cave to Danny Ainge’s ridiculous requests, and those guys he wanted are giving the “superstar” national media told us to trade for hell. Fuck the haters!!!
SAY IT LOUDER BEGLEY
@ the dumbasses that wanted Leon fired
We need a roast session after the season for all the horrible takes on twitter/reddit
Scott Perry deserves a lot of credit for putting up with Steve Mills before too lol. He laid the foundation for how we should rebuild and I think he’s done an awesome job.
