Santi isn’t that bad on defense as long as he gets some boards and contest to me. When he made that 3 that should had been an and 1 just so frustrating because Santi is good at using momentum to keep him going on both ends. I don’t blame kennard for trying to work on his game and drive more in a game like that with bit much to lose. Is it frustrating that ja fighting thru injury to return and lose ofc. You know coach TJ will guide us to being more urgent but less careless with ball early. Just hope we can get to better start shooting then in games we lost. If Ja can drop 45 like that then I hope other players see they can too. Memphis is well balanced and ja showed that it’s just a matter of getting a rhythm in a hostile environment.

A game where he got tossed for ACCIDENTALLY hitting LeBron in the groin while attempting a steal. I would have been fine with a flagrant one but getting ejected for that was ridiculous. How can a player do anything if they don’t get the touches. Luke got hardly any touches when Ja was in. Bane had to take off balance shots. They have Kennard doing the same play to get open everytime so the defense knows what’s coming. So of hard to score when you are standing in the corner and you don’t get the ball. You have Dillon taking shot after shot and missing what the hell is Jenkins doing about that. If Kennard even took 15 shots he would score 20 a game every game. 0-1 from 3 point range and he’s the top shooter on the grizzlies. Pitiful the way they play him. I do agree he needs to work harder on offense and that’s the coaches job to tell him that and bench him if he doesn’t do it. Bench Brooks if he keeps missing all the shots he’s been missing. I love Bane and JJJ.
