Need the whole squad having sleepovers at Karl’s place this summer.

The vibes are never as bad as they seem

Regardless of how people feel about KAT, you can’t deny how good it feels to have two all-stars that wanna play for the Wolves, and wanna hangout together.

This is awesome on a purely human level. Love to see this.

Writers. Lol. I feel like he just said went over to kats house last night, and the writer said this needs more depth.

A true leader. Wise beyond his years. A lot of us were stupid af at 21, so props for him being this way at that age.

This is truly what sets Ant apart. He always meets guys at the place they’re most comfortable at. He seems very agreeable and a people person in a way you can’t teach. He knew Rudy was struggling with the team, so he went out of his way to praise him when he had a good game. He does the same with guys like NAW and KAT. Dlo used to do this too and it’s nice to see. It’s obviously had an effect.

KAT has always taken bad performances hard. The guy cares so much, plain and simple. That should go a long way with Wolves fans IMO.

I remember when we were all bitching about how little Wiggins seemed to care out there. KAT’s passion sometimes shows up in the wrong ways but he’s been locked down about the officiating since coming back and done a much better job of managing his emotions. I just wish people would give him more credit for that part of things even when the results aren’t as good as we’d hope.

I think having a supportive teammate like Ant around to share the burden of being our star players is huge

It’s pretty weird how many people dislike KAT considering he’s been nothing but loyal to this team when many stars would’ve requested a trade by now. Add on the fact that he’s by all intents and purposes a really nice guy and has obviously had to go through quite a lot in his personal life and it really baffles me that so many fans have seemingly an actual hatred for him.

Is he very flawed at times and perhaps to overly-emotional? Yes, but just like Ant did, we should be supporting KAT and trying to build him back up. We know what he’s capable of when he’s on and we know that he’s someone who wears his heart on his sleeve, why not just give him support instead of constantly bashing on him for the flaws that he’s clearly aware of and trying to improve?

I hope KAT stays around for a long time. He obviously is a great talent. Tbh he could be a great Pippen-esque player to Ant, add in McDaniels as the Rodman, and well I’m not saying, I’m just saying…

If this article said they broke bread over a bag of hot fries, I’d be dead.

yess a free trial to the athletic was worth this article. 🥺 love our Ant man

This is why we gotta keep KAT. Is he incredibly frustrating to watch at times? Absolutely. But you know he wants to be here for the long haul. There’s so much value in having an All-NBA level player who you don’t have to worry about pulling a “Jimmy Butler” and demanding a trade after a dissapointing season.

Who are we trading KAT for that fits with this team better? And is that tradeoff worth the dip in talent? We still haven’t seen these guys play a healthy season together.

The third year guy has to help unlock the eighth year super max guy. 🤦‍♂️
