Giannis really needs to play if he’s even close to healthy. This is kinda an all-in season for the Bucks. If we lose this series, that might be it for this core, and it will be years before we’re able to build a contender around Giannis again.

Non-Bucks fan here. Based on what other people were saying I was under the impression that they were only not playing Giannis out of an abundance of caution. So that they can save him for a more difficult team in the second round, but now that the Heat are up, why isn’t he playing? Is the injury worse than originally thought?
