I honestly was not expecting Ant to explicitly bring up what TC did this summer unprompted.
Jon Ks question: “Coach was saying that he thinks you getting these opportunities to play in these big moments in playoff games is so good for your career. What do you feel like in these moments, does it feel different from a regular game?”
Ant didn’t even answer that. He started with saying how thankful he is of the FO’s moves. He didn’t have to say that, talking about the trade and signings wasn’t even a part of the question.
Our franchise player just said unprompted that he is satisfied with Tim Connelly’s moves and the people around him.

I took this more as the wolves putting the right trainers around him. He brought up C Hines who is the player development coach who worked with ANT in Atlanta this summer. He also brought up his own personal trainer. As much as I’d love for this to be ant praising the FO, I don’t think that’s the case

Ant is a class act.
Ant has always seemed to just be buddies with whoever is on the team. From him joking he will learn Spanish to hang out with Juancho and Rubio, to him kicking it with Vando bowling, him listening to all the mentorship from patbev, now he is talking about how TP is a top 5 all time NBA player and was hanging out with Mike Conley last night.
Sign this dude to a lifetime contract before he finds out.
Ant has never stopped slobbin Connelys Knob. He wants that money. He’s also a good teammate.
Maybe this is his plea to not make changes in the off-season- he has had to deal with changes every year and maybe he wants continuity for at least one year.
