Quin Snyder said he did talk to Dejounte Murray, both prior to and after the news came out that he was going to be suspended for Game 5.
Said he saw the same video that everyone else saw.
Snyder got a question about Jayson Tatum and he said that it was a question for the league and they can only control what they can control.
Snyder declined to name a starter to replace Murray for Game 5.
Said they have to meet as a staff to talk about that and everything else, including matchups.
Snyder: “Dejounte recognizes his part in the situation and that’s just not something you can do”
He said that Murray would have to answer on what upset him.
Snyder said Dejounte Murray was with the team in Boston when the news came down.

Quin Snyder said he hasn’t made a decision yet on who will start in place of Dejounte Murray in Game 5.

Snyder said that Dejounte Murray will want to be with the team in the capacity that he can since the suspension doesn’t allow him to be at the game. Logistically it sounds like he’ll probably head back to Atlanta with the team.

Hmm. I would like to hear DJ speak on this, probably not gonna happen until we are eliminated. I guess after game 6 or 7 at the earliest .
