One vote is a win in my books. People are talking about him. He’s a major force who used to be labeled as injury prone and he was a tweener. Now he’s one of the few iron mans, killer rebounder, and a 3 time champ. He’s come a long way.
Scuttleduck
It’s okay, he’ll win it next year 😉

JP should’ve won last year tbh

Hard to improve when you already a goat!
iguessimherenowok
can’t be most improved when you’re already the best player in the nba
KemptonS
i mean he was a key player of a championship team last year. he’s too good to get most improved
tacobot2
He was pretty damn good last year
KillingIdols
To be fair so did Mikal Bridges. And he also had a phenomenal breakout year.

I feel like Fox should have earned more than a single second place vote. He has been nothing short of stellar this series and, frankly, most of the year. Coach Brown probably the best thing to happen to his career, before now he was headed to John Wall territory (yeah, like I guess he’s good but he never seems to win anything)
grnmosrs
Looney has been fantastic for years. Why would he win this award
Theturtle123421
Stupid
Theturtle123421
I think he has improved so much from last year and deserves more votes because he contributes really well
HoboNoob
He looked so off the first few games after his return from clavicle fracture. Never thought he’d become this person he is right now. And a point over AR. I’ll take it. Congrats Loon!
BUUAHAHAHA
Malik Monk getting a vote is hilarious considering he’s his shooting percentages are worse this season than last.
sugarwax1
It’s not the most slept on player award.
AdvantageFamous8584
Yeah you gotta understand this was Lauri’s last chance in the NBA. He got bounced around, and he was called “injury prone.” He turned around his whole career and became a All-Star Starter.
Omertamateo
People don’t understand this is also how the presidential election works.

looney hasn’t done anything we’ve haven’t already seen from him in years past, idk why he’s even considered for MIP
ProfessorLazuli
Can’t improve much when your skills are very high.
Independent_Stress93
He’s our most improved player and that’s all that matters let them all sleep on the incredible force that is loonGod!
Nessmuk58
I think that part of it was that Looney was a starter and a key part of our Championship LAST year, He certainly improved this year, but it’s hard to make the case that he improved AS MUCH as these other guys. Plus, we went from Champs to struggling to stay out of the Play-in. That really shouldn’t matter, but it does.
