Not sure if this breaks any rules, but… tweet is explanatory. We shouldn’t be looking for pity because that’s just how the chips fall sometimes, but it’s interesting to see a player discuss that playoffs run on Twitter.

It was even more painful when Kyrie demanded a trade mid-season when we looked like we were the best team in the East. No doubt we could have added another piece and won a title this year. He ruined it to flame out with Dallas.
Kyrie might go down as one of the dumbest players ever once everyone realizes what he could have had, and with his own home team!
100% agree. That was our year. A motivated Harden. A vaccination mandate free Irving. A healthy Durant…. Still hate Giannis since that injury.
What hurts worse is seeing how weak the east is… and we could have had this shit, but we decided to blow it up. I don’t know if our chances will ever be that good again in my lifetime.

We didn’t even need Kyrie to finish that series we just needed Joe Harris to not be a completely useless bum, or James Harden to play with two legs or KD to be 1 inch backwards on the last shot in regulation. Any of those things & we’re champions, truly one of the unluckiest seasons I have ever witnessed across any sport. Giannis is a very lucky man to have that ring
