Kyrie, on his 2021 playoffs injury: “One of the most disappointing and painful moments of career. If I don’t get hurt that series, every single one of us on that Brooklyn team/bandwagon would be Champions. No f***ing doubt about it.”

  1. Not sure if this breaks any rules, but… tweet is explanatory. We shouldn’t be looking for pity because that’s just how the chips fall sometimes, but it’s interesting to see a player discuss that playoffs run on Twitter.

Then he went and blew it up, but yeah.

You could have gotten there again kyrie ya dope

  3. the fact that the East could come down to Boston, Philly, Miami and New York makes the fact they blew it up even that more depressing

I don’t say this often, but:

*Kyrie Irving is completely correct with this social media post he’s made and I agree with it entirely.*

Kyrie is off the meds with a lot of time on his hands not being the center of attention. He’s also criticizing the grizzlies head coach. He’s right about us probably winning but I wish he would just be quiet about it. Now he’s reminiscing ab what could have been after destroying us.

It will never end with him. Sometimes you can’t be the bill in the China shop and pretend you are enlightened. Sometime you just gotta stop pushing buttons.

  7. The amount of shit that had to go wrong just to prevent a championship in Brooklyn will always hurt 💔

It was even more painful when Kyrie demanded a trade mid-season when we looked like we were the best team in the East. No doubt we could have added another piece and won a title this year. He ruined it to flame out with Dallas.

Kyrie might go down as one of the dumbest players ever once everyone realizes what he could have had, and with his own home team!

100% agree. That was our year. A motivated Harden. A vaccination mandate free Irving. A healthy Durant…. Still hate Giannis since that injury.

What hurts worse is seeing how weak the east is… and we could have had this shit, but we decided to blow it up. I don’t know if our chances will ever be that good again in my lifetime.

  11. Kyrie irritating as fuck. His egos so inflated it’s insane

And yet, if he got along with Harden they might’ve won the next year.

We didn’t even need Kyrie to finish that series we just needed Joe Harris to not be a completely useless bum, or James Harden to play with two legs or KD to be 1 inch backwards on the last shot in regulation. Any of those things & we’re champions, truly one of the unluckiest seasons I have ever witnessed across any sport. Giannis is a very lucky man to have that ring
